Episode 5 – Encouragement
Suddenly, Dani heard his voice in her head. She closes her eyes and she appears in a white room.
"Hey, hey!"
Dani didn’t even have to turn around to know who it is. She sighs and said, "Hey, Zack."
"Yep, the one and only, Zack Fair! At your service!"
Dani turn around and asked Zack, "What do you want now?"
"We need to talk, Dani Cross," Zack said seriously as he crossed his arms.
"O…kay then."
"You better come. See ya," Zack said with a smile as his voice faded.
As Dani got back to reality, she got up and away from the stool seat. "I need to get going."
"Be careful out there, Dani."
"Don’t worry, Tifa. I will."
Dani walk out to Agito and road to Zack’s grave. When she got there, she just stood there, staring at his broadsword. Then Dani sit down Indian style and she close her eyes and try to contact Zack. Soon, she enters the white room once again, and Zack was in front of her.
"You’re finally here. Good," Zack said.
A confuse expression appears on Dani’s face. "Why?"
“I need to talk to you. Well, not me, but she does."
“Wait, she? You don’t mean-"
"Yep," there came a familiar female voice from Zack’s behind.
Zack move to the side to reveal none other than Aerith Gainsborough.
"Ae-Aerith!" Dani exclaimed and glomp her that she almost fall.
Aerith laughs then hug Dani back and said, "I’m glad to see you too, Dani."
Dani let go of Aerith and asked, "Um…what do you need to talk about, Aerith?"
"It’s about Cloud," Aerith replied.
"Cloud? Um…okay."
"Apparently, Cloud is on the emo side," Zack said.
"Hm, yeah. And…" Dani said as she waits for a response.
Aerith place her hand on her heart and said, "I need you to heal his heart."
"Wh-What?! But why me?!" Dani asked in shocked.
"Because you’re obviously in love with him," Zack answer Dani’s question.
"I-I do not!"
"Do too."
"Do not!"
"Do too."
Zack and Dani’s face were getting closer.
"Do not!"
Zack lean his face towards Dani, leaving only an inch between their faces. "Do too!"
"Do not!"
"Do not!"
"Do too!"
Dani quickly cover her mouth in shock while Zack laughs at her reaction.
"I am still victorious! Yeah!" Zack cheered.
Aerith giggles and said, "Childish yet, cute and handsome."
Dani quickly shook out of her trance and said, "I still don’t see what you see in him! I mean he’s-he’s…I got nothing."
Zack continue to laugh until Aerith said, "Zack."
Zack clear his throat and said, "Sorry, sorry."
Aerith turns her attention back towards Dani and said, "Now, you’re the only one who can help him."
"The…only one…me…" Dani said and sigh. "Why did my fate suddenly involve with Cloud’s fate?"
Dani could see the look on Zack’s face and knew what he was about to say. "Don’t. Even. Say. It."
"Okay," Zack said.
