It was mid September, Ashley and Adriana had been together for about a month, she hasn't hurt herself since that night at Ashley's house, her and Ashley's love has grown stronger.
Adriana's POV
"I'm going to be at practice all day, so go out and have some alone time" Ashley said into the phone. I smiled and replied "Okay, call me when you're on your way home"
"Sure thing, goodbye Adriana, love you"
"Love you too" I said hanging up the phone.
Grabbing my phone and purse I went out to my car and decided on going to get myself a cup of coffee. I arrived at the local coffee shop, parking my car, I got out and locked it. I walked inside and made my way to the counter of the coffee shop, I froze in my steps when I saw who the cashier was, he had brown hair and piercing blue eyes, tattoos up and down his arms, his name tag said "Cole". I had this gut feeling I've seen him before. I shook it off and walked to the counter. "Can I take your order ma'am?" Said the man, that's when it hit me, he was my attacker, on the night I met Ashley, it had to be him. I guess I had zoned out, because the man said "Ma'am are you okay?" I regained enough energy to speak "Uh, yes, I would like a iced coffee please" I payed for my coffee and walked out, still terrified that I had just seen my attacker again, 'Had he even recognized me?' I thought to myself as I walked to my car. I grabbed my purse, reaching for my keys, being the klutz that I am, I dropped them. Bending down to pick them up, I grabbed them and stood up. The next thing I knew was that everything went black and I was out cold on the ground.
Ashley's POV
It was around five o'clock and practice was wrapping up so I decided to give Adriana a call and tell her I was on my way home, I picked up my phone as dialed her number, it rang and rang, eventually going to voicemail. I assumed that she just didn't hear her phone ring, so I said goodbye to the guys and went to my car, before I began to drive, I tried calling her again and it once again went to voicemail, I didn't want to worry myself so I just turned up the music in my car and drove away, towards Adriana's house. Arriving at her house I noticed her car wasn't there. 'Maybe she just isn't home yet' I thought. I walked inside, it was quite and dark, empty. I called her again, still no answer. I was now really worried. I called her phone over and over. Still no response. I decided to take a shower, telling myself that maybe her phone just died and she was running late. By the time I got out of the shower, it was about nine at night. I was really scared. 'Where is she?' My mind wandered to all the possibilities of what might've happened to her. I just really hope she's okay.
