"Riley's POV"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" My family screamed. It was my 19th birthday, and I wasn't really happy about it. I was in Arizona living with my brother Ty, when the rest of my family's in Ohio. Ty set up his video chat, and that's how we all had my party. I was glad that I got to see my family, but I hated the fact that they were so far away. After saying "Hi" and "I love you too" to each relative, we ended the chat, and I walked up to my room.
"Riley, is everything Ok?" Ty asked from outside the door. I had moved here to live with him, because when our parents divorced, Mom stayed in Arizona with Ty, and Dad moved with me to Ohio. I don't know why he moved that far away, but oh well. I had no control. I bet driving back and forth so we could see each other, was a bitch.
"Yeah I'm fine." I say wiping my tears away. He must've heard me crying, because he walked in, and sat down by me.
"I know what will make you feel better."
"What?"
"I'll call some of the guys up, and we'll have a party on Saturday."
"You're the best little-brother ever." I say while wrapping him into a hug. He knew I was messing up his hair, which I know he hates.
"Riley! Stop it!" He yelled. He got away from my death grip, and ran back down stairs, going straight for the bathroom where his comb is.
I chuckled under my breath and lay down for a nap, being as it was only 9:00 in the morning.
*Dream*
I was walking down a boardwalk towards the beach. The sun was setting, which outlined a silhouette on the beach. It looked to be a boy. One that I knew all too well. One that appeared in every single one of my dreams. He turned to look at me, and started walking in my direction. I started walking towards him as well. He picked me up bridal style and looked into my blue-green eyes.
"Riley, I love you."
"I love you too Mitch."
*Dream end*
It's true. I have a huge crush on Mitch Hughes. He does some videos with Ty sometimes. I haven't told Ty yet, and I'm not planning to. I would never hear the end of it. I've liked him for a while, but I'm not sure if he likes me. We're friends, but I'm afraid to tell him.
I've got to find out if Ty's inviting him.
