I forgive you.

                                                                        *Riley's POV*

What can I say? I'm heart-broken. Crushed. It's like somebody cut my heart-out with a rusty switchblade, and threw it on the floor, for Mitch to stomp on. I was stupid to believe that I actually had a chance.

Ty told me yesterday, and today's tuesday, so that means I have 4 more days to drown in my sorrow.

"Hey Riley!" Ty yelled from down stairs.

"What? Can't you see I'm not in a good mood?"

"Someone's here. He want's to speak with you."

I flop out of bed, and walk downstairs. On the second to last step, I trip, and fall into someone's arms. It wasn't Ty. I looked up and saw Mitch.

"I need to talk to you about something."

"What?" I asked bitterly.

"Just trust me."

We walk out to the back porch, while Ty, goes and fixes himself lunch.

"Why do you want to talk with me?"

"Because, I want you to know, that I, ummm...."

Even though I was pissed, I got a warm, happy feeling about what he was going to say.

"You what?"

"I-I like you... a lot. And I'm really sorry about Mya. Jerome dared me, and I didn't know what I was doing. Please, can you forgive me? Please?"

"Yes, I'll forgive you."

He sighed with relief, and hugged me. I hugged back. He pulled back and stared deeply into my eyes.

"Riley, I've known you for a long while, and I just want to be sure. You do like me, don't you?"

"Yes. I like you."

He hugged me again, but this hug lasted longer. I wasn't complaining, because I like it when Mitch hugs me. I buried my head into his shirt. He had some type of cologne or body spray on. Axe maybe.

"That's going on Twitter." We both turned and saw Ty standing in the doorway, with a sandwich in one hand, and his phone in the other. We all laughed, and went inside for a snack.

We sat down on the couch, and Mitch was sitting close to me, which I enjoyed. Ty turned the TV on, and before he could change the channel, Mitch grabbed the remote from him.

*Today in New Jersey, a house burnt down. Most suggest foul play. Luckily the owners were not inside.*

The camera screened over to the people standing outside.

*Can you explain how you feel about this?*

"YES I CAN! MY DAMN HOUSE JUST BURNT DOWN!"

Mitch turned off the TV. He had a grim expression. So did Ty and I.

That was Jerome.
