We both quickly left practice-this time remembering to change- got in my car and began the drive to the boy's flat. While driving Erin asked me "So Daniella, have you picked the setlist for Rival Night yet?"

*Okay hold up you're probably wondering what 'Rival Night' is right? Well what's unique about my squad is that we don't only cheer, it's mixed with show choir as well. So basically we sing songs, dance and cheerlead all at the same time in the same competition otherwise known as 'Upper-Class National Championships'. We compete with 7 other squads to see which 4 squads make it to 'Upper-Class' and the other 4 compete in 'Lower-Class National Championships'. Thats what Rival Night is, the big showdown to see who makes it to which class.*

"Uhm I've got a couple of songs in mind" I replied.

"Okay, so who's going to be there this year?" Erin asks, geez she's just full of questions tonight.

"Well the usual" I'm really not in the mood to talk about it right now, just wanna focus on the road.

"Really Daniella? 'The usual'?! What's that supposed to mean?" She asked sarcastically.

"Well you know Marissa, Dylan, Kyle, Brooke, Hunter, Hayley and..." I trailed off.

"Andddddd???" She asked.

I really didn't want to say the last person "Derek" I mumbled under my breathe.

Erin turned to me and snorts "Derek?! As in Derek Carter?!?!" She begins laughing.

"Oh shut up-you knew he was gonna make it" she stops laughing but still smirks to herself "oh this shall be fun"

"Oh heheh" I mimicked back to her.

The irony here is that I really hated Derek, I never knew why really. Maybe it's the fact that he's never been nice to me a day in his life. Constantly putting me down, putting my squad down, insulting me- he was just a big jerk. A jerk who thought WAY too much of himself. All that crossed his head was 'Derek, Derek and more Derek' and it made me sick. Him and his all-boy squad got famous pretty fast so he does have a reputation and an ego to match. I am slightly famous too with my squad ranking first in a bunch of competitions- just not as much.

Back on track: the drive finally ended and here we were infront of the boy's flat.

"Okay Erin remember what I told you: no fangirling, no screaming no nothing just be cool" I warned- I knew how she could get.

"Geez Daniella calm down you act as if I'm a thirteen year old girl who's never seen Justin Bieber before" she complained.

"Well we never know Erin" I teased, winking at her. She playfully shoved me and we got out of the car.

Deciding to take the stairs for some exercise we made our way up to their door. Being the still shy girl I am I knocked lightly on their door-yet they still managed to hear.

"Come in" I heard Louis yell.

Erin and I walked into the flat, the boys were hanging out in the living room but with their backs to us. What was weird is that I counted 6 heads, but there only is 5 boys in One Direction. They all turn around to greet us with smiley faces, but the 6th one doesn't turn around. He looks incredibely familiar but I just can't put my finger on it. The dark flowy hair, nice build, still couldn't recognize him. He stands up, still having his back to me until he finally decides to turn around.

"Hello Daniella" the voice says coyly. I could recognize that voice anywhere...

It was Derek.
