I really should visit the boys soon. I feel bad, I've been so wrapped up in Rival Night and setlist prep that I've completely forgot about them. How ironic, as I am thinking about them, my phone buzzes. It's a text from Harry. (Yes last time we were there I gave my number to Harry. Hey he was at least polite enough to ask)

"After practice drop by? We miss you! :) xx"

Wait, he remembered I had practice? How sweet. Wait a minute you idiot, you have practice every day. *face palm* whatever I'll go. I miss the boys too.

"Sure thing!! :)"

I'm not English so I didn't want to put the "xx" after the message, it would feel too out of place. Anyways focus Daniella. You're at practice, worry about Harry later!!

*buzz*

Oh yes because that worked.

"Great! xx -H"

Aww he calls himself H? Now's not the time! Focus you have a setlist to unveil. Oh gosh, of course I'm the last one out of the change room. I really need to get my priorities straight. As I walk out everyone's staring at me. Of course way to draw attention to yourself Daniella.

"Welcome Daniella, care to join us?"

Erin sassed at my punctuality. She's only joking of course.

"Very funny Erin" I replied as I grabbed the stereo.

"Okay so basically I've got us the perfect setlist for Rival Night" I start, as I turn to everyone after plugging the stereo in.

"It's a mix of everything our motto stands for, which is"

"classy but sexy" everyone said together.

"Perfect now I want you to hear the setlist and tell me your thoughts?" I squeaked at the end. The one main goal is for them to like it. Alright here it goes.

Alright so it starts off with

"Wikked Lil' Grrrls" by Esthero which if you haven't heard the song it begins with like a jazzy, 1920's feel to it. It's really easy to sing together and the dance choreography options are endless.

Our second song as an entire squad is "I Love It" by Icona Pop. It's the hit song right now, everyone loves it! I also loved it so much because it represents my squad, we're crazy, loud and just love life.

Our third and final song as a squad is well the ultimate cheer song. It's the song known to every cheerleader alive, it's like the cheerleader's national anthem. What song is it? "Mickey" from Bring It On. Of course I had to use the best cheerleading movie of all time (not to mention it's 8 sequels) in our setlist. There was no question about it. It just had to be there.

So by the look of the girls' faces they like it. Now moving on to category 2: partial participation. Aside from the solo performance this is one of the crucial points in Rival Night. The partial participation displays your team commitment, the way you co-operate and your diverse singing skills. What do I mean diverse singing skills? Well who can hit those high notes, who can carry a harmony, who can carry a melody and who can carry those super high extra long wow factor notes. Those are what get you noticed, recognized and overall a better rank in the competition. In our squad, there's five of us performing in partial participation: Erin, Sky, Morgan, Clara and myself. Macy and Clara would switch from harmony and melody and Erin, Sky and I would take turns singing the high notes. This year our two songs for partial participation are "Kiss You" by One Direction (oh god, if the boys ever found out I would probably die of embarrassment) as well as "Wings" by Little Mix. If only you could see the smiles on these girls' faces right now.

And then the CD stops.

Everyone is looking at me as I look down towards the ground. Truth is, I really didn't know how to end off our Rival Night setlist. Out of all the songs I could pick for my solo, well I just haven't picked one yet. I couldn't find one that I could really relate too. I find that if a person who is singing a song can relate to it, it makes the performance that much more personal.

I'll think of something.
