Chapter 3

I walk to Brian's car and see him talking to Nikki. I shake my head and walk over to Megan's car.

"We are going to be here for a while. The devil is talking to Brian." I say

"I'm sorry. It's obvious to me and probably to Nikki too. That you like him." Megan says

"Sadly I do like Brian. But he is with Nikki, the most popular girl." Megan says

"No I'm not. That is what me and her were just talking about. We broke up weeks ago. But she can't get over me." Brian says

I jumped when I heard Brian's voice behind me.

"Sorry Ab, didn't mean to scare you." He says

I smack his chest as I turn around, "You know how jumpy I am. Halloween especially." I say

He laughs and tries to grab my wrists before I can smack him again. I laugh and pound against his chest.

"How about we get you home." Brian says

"Alright fine. Bye Megan. See you tonight." I say and quickly hug her

Me and Brian walk over to his car. I get in the passenger and reach into the back and grab my guitar and pull it out of the case. I start strumming at it.

"You make my heart beat a mile." I sing silently

"I don't know what you did to me to make me feel this way." Brian sings and starts to drum on the wheel
