I look at the black light down the hallway. I stay pressed against the wall, next to Brian. He looks at me with a worried look on his face.

"I need to get her out of there." I say

"But if they are looking for you, it is a lot more dangerous for you to be out there." He says

"I don't care, I need to get my best friend out of there. She might be the one who is in the most danger." I say

"I can't believe you! You are willing to give up your fearless personality and take on this minion of hers." He says

"Yes. She is my best friend, I need to get her somewhere where she isn't going to be harmed or her fear fed off of." I say

I quickly jump out from the behind the wall and shoot the gun at the monster. I hear it yelp in pain and disappear into the ceiling. I run over to Abby and hug her. She holds onto me tightly.

"Thank you." She says

"I couldn't just leave you, even though I am the one that is being hunted." I say

"Of course you couldn't. It isn't like you." She says

"I need to get ahold of my parents. They would know how they got free from the containment." I say

I step away and pull my phone out, dialing my mom's number. Within a few rings, her phone goes to voicemail. I look at my phone weirdly. I dial my dad's number and he answers.

"Dad, where are you and mom?" I ask

"Out hunting." He says

"Where? Cause we got a lot of the monsters here, feeding off of the fear here." I say

"Of course there are. We are on our way. Hopefully." He says

"See you soon. " I say
