Chapter 5

I mess with the black dress and the tears in it. I then start to mess with the fake cuts and the blood.

"I won't be able to handle all of this Brian." I say and look at him

"Then as soon as we get there, go to the bathroom and wear your original costume." He says

"The spy one?" I ask

"Yeah. I thought you looked good in that black suit." He says

I smile then reach into the back and pull it out from his back seat.

"And if we are attacked by monsters, I can actually run. And shoot without tripping over the dress." I say

"I honestly doubt we will be attacked." He says

"We never know. My mom was about this age when Diemata attacked her and her friends." I say

"I doubt she will attack us. She doesn't have anything to feed on with you." He says

He pulls into the mansion parking lot. I grab my suit and my guitar and get out. I look at him as I fold my suit nicely and stick it in my guitar case. I sling that over my shoulder and walk to the trunk of the car. I help him unload some of the decorations and his drum set. I look at him over the pile of stuff I have in my arms.

"You do realize, that we never know when she might get free and attack. Or try to feed on me." I say "I already have enough to fear with all this crap with Nikki."

"What crap with Nikki?" He asks

My eyes widen as I realize I never talked to him about it.

"Well Nikki is jealous and she caught a picture of that time I stayed and watched your football practice. When I went to go punch your arm, she made it look like I was grabbing your hand." I quickly explain and start to walk in with a hurry

"Dean, get your butt back here." He yells after me

"We really need to start setting up." I called back and walk inside

I set the buckets down and walk to the stage and set the drums down and walk back to the buckets. I open them and start pulling out fake skulls and spiders. I walk around the room and start to set them around. I reach into the bucket and feel something round, and it doesn't feel like a skull. I pull it out and see a disco ball.

I grab a ladder and step up to where normal people would be able to reach it/want to stay. I smile and step onto the top of the ladder and reach for one of the hooks to hang it up when I feel something hit the ladder.

"I swear if that is you Dawn, I'm going to murder you!" I say loudly

I reach for the hook again and almost grab it when something hits the ladder agains, with enough force to send me flying off of it. I fly through the air. I flip onto the ground and lay on my back. I look up and see Nikki smirking at me.

"Whoops. Didn't see the ladder there." She says and laughs

"Will you leave me alone already?! You and Brian broke up weeks ago. You two are done. He doesn't want you anymore. Get over him." I say and jump up to my feet
