I woke up the next morning in heaven. My blankets and sheets still smelt of Russel, putting me in a deep sleep quickly. I couldn't help but think it would've been faster if he had just been here, but I couldn't let myself do that.

I rolled out of the bed, padding down the hallway to the bathroom. I smiled. It was the first day of summer.

"Whoa kiddo, who do I smell on you?" my dad wrinkled his nose. My cheeks flushed. I would've been able to get away with it if we were just normal people.

"I dunno, a lot of people hugged me last night," I lied. I almost didn't want to shower because I wanted to still smell him.

"Hm," was all my dad said before walking down the hallway, leaving me alone. I climbed into the shower and even though I was in a stressful position, I somehow throughly enjoyed it. Sighing, I stepped out of the shower and walked to my room with my dirty clothes bundled in my arms. I headed straight for my closet, basking in the fact that my room still smelt of him and shrugged on some shorts and a t shirt. I headed out to the woods, wanting to go for a run if I could find Luke. I caught his scent and much to my enjoyment, Russel was with him. But so was Dillon.

"Hey guys," I smiled as I approached them. Russel quickly followed my voice. We shared a look of longing, so quick I wasn't even sure that it had actually happened. Luke bro-fisted me and then made me do our old handshake with him. I laughed. Dillon greeted me with a hug and I acted as though I enjoyed it, holding him tightly for a moment before letting go. Thats what I would've done if Russel hadn't of come into the picture. I flicked my eyes to him, his face was calm but his fist was clenched.

"So Luke, will come run with me?" I practically pleaded with my eyes.

"Spenc, you know I'd love to, but I told Annabel that go with her to the lake at noon. I don't want to get worn out, 'cause when you make me run with you, I feel like I'm going to die," Luke declined. I sighed. I would never able to talk to this boy alone.

"I'll go with you," Dillon spoke up. "I've always wanted to know why Luke complains for two days straight after he runs with you."

I laughed. I did push myself pretty hard, but I never let anyone on to my soreness the next couple of days. "That works. Just know that I run half normally then I shift," I told him.

"I'll tag along too," Russel said and I rose my eyebrows at him. His eyes glittered in competition.

"I suppose you can come," I said, acting like I normally would've even though on the inside I was excited beyond belief. "Just let me get changed. You guys should probably change into some more comfortable, too."

They both nodded. I couldn't help but notice that they both looked agitated at each other. I smirked as I walked to my house and changed into a pair of shorts and a sports bar, my usual attire. I tied my tennis shoes before walking outside and stretching on the lawn. I knew Russel was there before he made himself known. The creeper was watching me stretch. I smiled to myself and wondered when he'd make himself known.

"I know you're there," I laughed and looked up. He smiled at me and I returned it. A sudden urge to kiss him flowed through me, but I pushed it aside. I definitely couldn't do that.

"You guys ready?" Dillon asked from behind us, blushing furiously when I turned around. I wanted to laugh he was so cute, but I didn't, instead I nodded, smiling at him and walked with them to the woods.

We joked around and threw insults at each other, all joking of course. Once we hit the woods, I started jogging. It got quiet except for our breathing and I couldn't help but notice that after 15 minutes of jogging, Dillon was already breathing heavy. Russel's breathing perfectly normal, just like mine.
