When I woke up, I felt like I was surrounded by a hundred blankets. Russel was so incredibly warm and heavy. He was practically sleeping on me. He had his arms snuggled around my body, one of his legs thrown across my legs and most of the front side of his body pressed against my back.
I slowly tried to wiggle out of his grip, trying not to wake him, but I stopped dead when he growled.
“Stop doing that,” he rasped out. His sleepy voice was hot; I’m not even going to lie.
“Let me up,” I whispered, though I don’t know why, and continued to try and wiggle my way out. My butt brushed against his front side and his arms slid to my waist, holding me still. I stifled a giggle when I felt his morning “excitement.”
“Think that’s funny, huh?” he whispered in my ear and I let out a laugh.
“Kind of,” I admitted and he sighed, eyes still closed. I twisted around in his embrace and he let me so “he” was now pressed against my thigh. I nuzzled his neck, pressing light kisses on the exposed skin. He groaned.
I wanted to repay him for last night. He had taken care of me, shown me his love. Now I wanted to do the same. Just in a… slightly different way.
I gently moved my thigh against him through his jeans and my hands slipped under his shirt. My fingers danced across his toned stomach, earning me an airy groan. I pushed him sideways on to his back and he took me with him.
“That’s a nice way to wake someone up,” Russel grinned up at me. I smiled back as I straddled his waist and flipped my hair to my left side. I positioned my hands on either side of his face before I kissed him thoroughly.
His fingers caressed my thighs lightly, starting my own flame, but I pushed it aside in my mind. This was about him. I pulled away from his lips slightly, my cheeks flaming. Once I said this, it would be final. No going back.
“I love you,” I said, my eyes gazing into his. At my confession a smile flitted onto Russel’s features. My breathing kicked up a notch as I physically felt our bond growing.
“I love you too, Spencer,” Russel said back, causing me to smile back at him. I leaned back in for a kiss, taking it up a few speeds. Lust started to flow through our veins, causing Russel to get restless under me. I tugged his shirt upwards and he pulled it over his head. Things progressed and as I kissed down his torso and toyed with his jeans, Russel stopped me.
“You don’t have to,” Russel said, his cheeks flushing. His lips were swollen from our kissing. “Don’t feel like you should just because I said I loved yo—“ I cut him off by putting my finger over his lips.
“Shh. You took care of me last night, now I’m going to take care of you now,” I whispered in his ear, flicking my tongue out to tease his ear lobe.
“You really don’t have to if you don’t want to, Spencer,” Russel panted as I went lower. He definitely wanted me to. My heart swelled. It felt good to know he wouldn’t pressure me into anything.
“I want to,” he gave me a skeptical look. I rolled my eyes. “If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be doing it. I promise. Now stop talking.”
And with that he shut up. And he stayed as quiet as possible (which wasn’t very quiet and involved a few curse words) until I nuzzled his neck once more and waited for his breathing to slow down.
He held me tightly to his chest and his fingers combed through my hair, the hair his fingers had been tangled in moments before. He dropped his head into my neck, rubbing his cheek against my head and inhaled the scent of my hair.
