For 5 years Josh and I lived with the Bennets. Every week we went to therapy; in an attempt to salvage the childhood robbed from us. To help me cope, the therapists prescribed music therapy. Josh prescribed himself, when he buried himself in books and swore to make our life better, only stopping to have a job to save up money.

Every morning, Carter's wife, Lana,  would pack is lunches, and kissed me on the forehead. She would wait for us to come home, and have something ready for us to eat everyday. Lana decorated my room with my favorite colors, and even bought a cello for me to play. She had beautiful strawberry blonde hair, which complimented her tan skin perfectly. Her green eyes and long eyelashes were seemingly perfect.

She told me of the story of her and Carter. They were high school sweethearts. At their high school graduation Carter proposed. She always joked how Carter went to four years of college, only to realize he liked police work instead.

They seemed like the perfect happy couple, always so kind. They never treated Josh and I as fragile, just normal kids.

When Josh finally saved up enough money, we moved out. He continued to go to medical school and took care of me.
