I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was surrounded by fifth graders. They were backing me against a wall. What you did for me that day was truly heroic. That's exactly what I saw you as, a hero. Of course you didn't fight them. In fact, I'm not exactly sure what you did. All I know is that they never came around me again. Probably because you were always with me from that point on. So I want to properly thank you. For being my best friend.

I never really knew what you saw in me. I couldnt fight them, they were all at least a head taller than me. In the spure of the moment, I threatened them with the fact my father Igneel is the headmaster. But they never came near you again, and that was all that mattered. And you gave me something I've never properly thanked you for. You called me your best friend.

*Ding! Ding!*

My eyes popped open at the sound of Natsu's ring tone. I reached for my phone where it sat on my side dresser.

>Do u want 2 go out somewhere 2day?
>Yeah, our usual spot in the park? I'll meet you there in an hour.
>Great! Do u want me 2 bring a picnic basket, or do you want 2 go out for lunch?
>A picnic would be nice. I'll wear something special in spirit of today! <3 Bye!!!

I looked over at my clock. 11:30. I went to my closet and picked out a white sleeveless dress with pastel colored flowers on it. I found a black shaw and my usual black boots. Before I put it on I wanted to take a shower. I skipped to the bathroom. I was so excited to spend the day with Natsu.

I got out of the shower, and went downstairs. My father was cooking breakfast.

"Hi father." He turned around, and smiled.

"Good morning, son. Got any plans today? Going to do anything special with Lisanna?" I rolled my eyes.

"For the last time, Lisanna and I aren't dating. It was one kiss. And we were five. And actually, I'm going out with Luce today," I said. He got a weird look on his face.

"Okay, well I'm gonna go finish getting ready." I went back upstairs. I got on my white under shirt and black vest. Then my black dress pants and shoes. I put them on and used the towel to ruffle my hair. Then my little sister Wendy came in.

"You're going to the park with Lucy-chan today," she said, leaning on the door frame. I gasped a little, frustrated.

"Wendy! I've told you a thousand times, to stay off my phone!" I up said.

"Take me with you! Please, I'll stay out of the way of your date with Lucy-chan, I promise. I just want to go to the playground. Please big brother! Please!" She did her best impression of puppy dog eyes and clasped her hands together. I couldnt resist, so I picked her up and spun around. Then I placed her down on my bed.

"I'll text Lucy and see if she's okay with it, okay?" Wendy nodded eagerly.

"Okay, she said its fine. You can come Wendy. And also, Romeo will be there, so you'll have to play with him." Wendy smiled, and shrugged.

"I don't care as long as I can hang out with you. Can I help you make the picnic?" she asked.

"You think I can do it? You are the one who got the cooking skills from mom," I said. She laughed, and we went downstairs to start.
