"Hey Luce, wake up." I poked her face. Se twitched and smiled.

"I'm up, I'm up. Why'd you wake me?" she asked. I had really woke her because my arm was asleep from her laying on it, but I had another reason.

"We should go dancing tonight," I said. She nodded and propped herself up on her elbow. I sighed in relief as the blood flow returned to arm.

"Sounds awesome, but where? A club?" she asked.

"No, a place like that seems like it would be to rowdy," I paused, not telling her what I was really thinking. There was a chance that I could lose track of her, and some creepo could get ahold of her. "I was thinking, the Valentine's Day ball."

I was in shock. The Valentine's Day ball is really swanky, held by the twelve richest people in the town. To get an invitation, you had to order a month in advance, and you wouldn't even receive the invitation if you weren't approved by the twelve ball hosts.

"Y-you're not saying y-you got an invitation, are you? They're nearly i-impossible to get!" I said. He simply grinned a sly grin.

"Yep. The twelve of them are all good friends with my father Igneel. They sent him two invites but he declined them due to him being busy with work. They said, and I quote, "then just give them to your darling son. He can bring a guest of his choice". My father thought I was going to bring Lisanna of all people. As if," he said. I giggled. He blushed and smiled. Then he got really serious.

"So will you go with me?" he asked. My mouth fell open in shock.

"Are you kidding?! I'd be a fool to turn you down! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!" I exclaimed. He gave me a sly grin, and stared directly in my deep brown eyes.

"Is that the only reason you'll go with me?" he asked. I blushed. I had hoped he would very well know that wasn't the only reason.

That day a love inside of me started to glow the tiniest glow.
That day, is when my love for Natsu... Changed to something I couldn't explain.
It all became so Unclear to me.
