The happening- a story of Miraculous Ladybug

The acident

This is my first story so please forgive me if I make a few mistakes!!

Saturday Night
  "Pound it!" The two hero's voices intertwined as they hit their fists together as they do every time they defeat an Akuma.

Beep Beep

"Sorry kitty, I have to go." Ladybug removed her yoyo from her hip and prepared to take off. But as she was about to jump from the building she put too much pressure on her injured right leg and collapsed on the roof.

"My Lady!" Chat Noir said as he rushes to her and picked her up in bride style. "Are you ok?"

Ladybug looked at Chat's face and saw so much concern in his eyes she has only seen a few times when she is injured in battle. "Yes kitty, I am fine but put me down."

He held her a little longer thinking it was a bad idea for her to stand up on her own. It could paws-ably make her injured leg worse. But then she started to fidget in his arms so he unwilling put her down.

When her foot touched the ground she winced in the pain but put an unconvincing smile on her face. "See kitty, I am totally fine." She took one step forward and collapsed, but luckily Chat was right there and caught her before she hit the ground.

Beep Beep

Ladybug became more anxious to leave because her earrings only had three more spots left. So she tried to stand on her own but fell into Chat this time.

"But M'lady it's im-paws-ably for you to get home like this." he said flirtatiously making ladybug roll her eyes putting Chat's signature smirk on his face.

"So kitty cat how do you suppose I get home?" Ladybug said with a small smirk on her lips still leaning on Chat. One arm around her waist and the other holding her shoulder so she was pressed against him, face to face. "I have to get home soon before my transformation releases and you see me without the mask."

"My lady why must we keep this from each other? Do you not trust me?" He said with his lips in a fake pout. But what Ladybug didn't realize when he said this a spark in his bright green cat eyes dimmed a little.

Beep Beep

"Chat, of course, I trust you. I trust you with my life. But we don't have time for this now I have to get away before you see me without the mask." She said while looking away from Chats green eyes, which she hadn't realized she was staring into.

Chat huffed at this response but nodded his head in understanding, "Ok, then Ladybug explain to me what your plan is to get you home so I don't see the real you?"

Chat could tell she was deep in thought because of the face she was making. It looked very cute but it seemed oddly familiar, but he put it out of his head when her face brightened up.

"Ok Chat you need to take me to the school and drop me off there." When Ladybug said this she looked back up at Chat and when she did he looked very confused. "You know the school where most of the attacks we have fought occur."

        Ladybug began to get very antsy because she knew she only had two spots left and was about to lose another. "Ok ok, my lady calm down. I will take you there." Chat said this as he picks her up again bridal style. Ladybug then wrapped her arms around his neck, and he starts to jump from roof to roof heading toward the school.

Beep Beep

"Hurry Chat I only have one spot left."

He looked down at her and saw the worry in her face so he sped up. She reluctantly tightens her grip around his neck and holds herself close to his body making Chat smirk a little. "Don't take pleaser in my pain."

Chat starts laughing which causes him to slow down a little. "Sorry, M'lady." He said as his whole hearted laughing faded to which he then looked down at the scowl on Ladybugs face and says, "It's just you are so amazing!"

Ladybugs face seems to soften but a frown is placed on her lips as they land on the front steps of the school. "Not without the mask." She whispers to herself. Chat hears this and is about to say something about it but Ladybug kisses him on the cheek and limps into the dark school.

Chat is frozen there for a few minutes when he hears his ring beep he has two paws left. He must not have heard it when he was carrying his lady to the school. So he takes out his baton and uses it to launch himself onto the roofs.

When he reached his room he released his transformation, Chat fading into Adrien, and fell face first onto his bed. A Little black creature leaning next to him on the bed. "What were you thinking? She was right there about to lose her transformation and you just left her there."

     Adrien lifted up his head from the covers of his bed, he sighed and said "Plagg, I told you this before I don't think when I am with her. And I promised her we would keep our real selves a secret from each other, even though I really want to know who she is." Adrien then fell back on the bed but shifted around so he was now on his back staring at his ceiling. "I wonder if we know each other in real life?"

As she limped into the doors of the dark school she realized she was blushing. Why was she blushing? She thought it was just a thank you, nothing more nothing less. But something started in her as she moved deeper into the school. She didn't understand what it was or why it was there but she knew something had changed.

When the last beep ran through the air her transformation released and in her place faded a wincing Marinette. The Ladybug suit had taken most of the pain, but now that she wasn't transformed, most of the pain hit her full force and she collapsed to the floor.

When she hit the floor she caught a red and black spotted creature in her hands. "Oh my, Marinette are you ok?" The creature said as she flew out of Mari's hands and put her small hand on her holders face.

"Yeah Tikki I'm fine my leg just really hurts." She says as she tries to get up but winces from the pain in her leg and decides to stay sitting a little longer. "I think it is just really bruised, it'll be better in no time."

"No Mari, I think it's broken!" Tikki said having felt the pain she was going through. "That Akuma hit you pretty hard, which means they are getting stronger."

Marinette groans and tries to get up off the ground, again. This time she is successful and limps over to the entrance door, looking around to see if anyone was there. She then looks at Tikki and says, "Come on Tikki I need you to rest on the way home, we need to retransform to get into my room."

Tikki settled in Marinette's purse for the walk home which luckily still had cookies in it to help get Tikki's strength up faster. "By the way Mari what was that at the end when you walked away. You actually kissed him. What was that?" Tikki said from inside her purse. Marinette didn't respond to her kwami, she blushed thinking back to what happened on the school stairs.

Marinette groans remembering she didn't have an excuse for her leg. She huffs and says, "What am I going to tell everyone about what happened to me?" She put her head in her hands. Then in a whiny voice says, "If I say I fell what is Adrien going to think of me? He is probably going to think I am stupid and totally clumsy. He will never talk to me again. Then we won't ever get married, have kids, and get a dog or a cat no forget the cat. Oh, I love hamsters we can get a hamster. Oh Tikki, what am I going to do?"

There was muffled laughed from inside Mari's purse "What am I going to do with you?" Tikki said at her holders over dramatics. "Mari everything is going to be just fine!"
