The fight

Monday Morning
"Omg Mari, what happened?" Alya said as she ran into Marinette's room abruptly. She looks at Marinette now on crutches trying to pick up her backpack from it's place on the floor. "Mari, why didn't you tell me about this sooner? I could have can over this weekend and helped you out."

Alya then walked over to the struggling Marinette and picked up her Mari's backpack slinging it over her shoulder. "Sorry, Alya I forgot to text you. But you really don't have to carry that for me!" Marinette said trying to grab her backpack off Alya's shoulder. When Alya moved so she couldn't get it, she huffed. "Come on Alya I don't want you to have to carry that for me. I am very capable of carrying it on my own."

Alya laughed at her friend and said: "You are too nice for your own good!" Alya still didn't give Marinette her backpack but instead started walking down the stairs. She stopped when she realized Marinette wasn't following her she replied to this action with "Mari are you coming or not? We don't have all day school will start soon."

When Alya said that Marinette had forgotten they had to get to school she squeaked and hurried to the stairs. When Marinette had kissed her parents goodbye and walked out the front food Alya asked the one question Marinette dreaded to be asked. "So, what did happen to you?"

Marinette quickly rattled out the same excuse she used with her parents about going for a late night walk Saturday and not seeing where she was going and fell down some stairs. Alya at first didn't believe her story but after she looked into Mari's eyes a little her face changed which meant she bought it which usually doesn't happen since I'm such a bad liar.

When she walked into her first class of the day with her cast on her right leg and her crutches all eyes were on her. Except for Adrien because he hadn't arrived yet. Everyone's faces seemed worried for her except one in particular.

"Are you ok Marinette?" Nathanael said shyly from the back of the room to which Marinette gave him a small, reassuring smile.

"What happened, dudette?" Nino asked.

"When did this happen?" Alix said standing up in her seat.

"Oh here comes little miss, oh so clumsy, Marinette she probably tripped over her own stupid feet and fell down some stairs." Chloe says in a snarky voice and sends a scowl in Marinette's direction. To Chloe's dislike, Marinette brushed it off like she never even said it which made Chloe growl and say " Don't walk away from!"

Then out of nowhere, Adrien walks into the classroom looking confused as to why he heard Chloe screaming all the way down the hallway. "What is going on in here? Chloe, why are you yelling?" He said still standing in the doorway.

"Oh Adrikins you are here I thought you had another morning photo shoot, and I was yelling because Marinette was being rude to me." Chloe said in a practiced innocent voice while wrapping her arms around his neck and trying to kiss him. When she said this his eyes went to the girl just sitting down with crutches in her hands and a blush on her face.

He looked away from Marinette and looked at the small smirk on Chloe's face then he said: "I doubt that."

"Adrien wake up you have 30 minutes to get to school!" Plague yelled in his holder's ear trying to wake him up. When he finished yelling Adrien's eyes flashed open and he sat up quickly flinging his kwami across the room. He could barely hear his kwami groan as he hopped out of bed and headed to his closet.

From inside the closet, he said "Plagg why didn't you wake me up sooner? I am going to be late." There was some shifting inside the closet as Adrien puts on his clothes and hops around in a hurry.

"I have been trying for the last 30 minutes," Plagg said as Adrien walked out of the closet with dark jeans, a white t-shirt, and a light blue plaid shirt over it. "You sounded like you had a good dream!" Plagg said with a smirk which made Adrien blush and sighs happily.

"Ok no time for daydreams I need to text the limo, get cheese from the kitchen, and get me some food," Adrien said as he shoved Plagg in his bag and ran out his bedroom door.

Before he knew it he was going up the school steps to the entrance. He blushed remembering that his lady had kissed him on these very stairs.

Ring Ring

Dang it, he thought as the late bell rang threw out the whole school, I am late for class. Then he hears a loud voice wait he knows that voice is that Chloe? Of course, it is when is she not yelling at someone.

Then he walks into the class room.

Chloe huffed at what Adrien had said she hugged him a little tighter "'You doubt it.' Oh honey if only you were here a few minutes ago you would know what I mean." She said sassily and she pulled her head toward his but he pushed her away from him.

"Oh come on Chloe one of the sweetest girls in our class being so incredibly rude to you. I really do doubt what you are saying, Chloe." He said this as he pointed at Marinette. He turned his head to look at her and she had a red blush on her cheeks which he thought was kind of cute. Woah, where did that one come from, he had not thought anyone to be cute other than his lady? Anyways back to the point.

He turned his head back to look right at Chloe when he said "Chloe though you are my oldest friend I mean this in the most polite way. You need to stop being so selfish and start thinking of other people."

Chloe looked so hurt Adrien felt kinda sorry for what he said and Chloe lost all control of her emotions. She fled the room crying with Sabrina picking up their things and running after her. Instead of going after Chloe also, he took his seat right as the teacher walked in.

She told everyone to take their seats because during the fight a few people stood up to watch. While the teacher was talking Alya elbowed Marinette to get her to say something to Adrien.

So, Marinette got any possible courage from her alter-ego she could reach as Marinette and tapped Adriens shoulder. When he turned to look at her with his green eyes Marinette almost melted then and there. But then she took a deep breath and squeaked out a thank you.

Adrien smiled at Marinette's actions, he thought she was really sweet. Wait, what again! When did these feelings start? Instead of thinking about it more he just replied by saying "You're welcome, Marinette." Then he winked making Marinette's cheeks become an even brighter red than her own Ladybug suit.
