The happening- a story of Miraculous Ladybug

The tears

Tuesday Morning
When Marinette's alarm goes off she reaches over lazily and turns it off. Marinette was still tired because she hadn't gotten a lot of sleep after finding out that Chat Noir is her beloved Adrien. And every time she thinks back to that night a blush grows on her face.

"Oh, Marinette what am I going to do with you?" Tikki remarks playfully as she shakes her head giggling. "You might want to get up and hurry if you want to get to the school early!" With that Marinette climbed out of bed, grabbed her crouches, and hurried to her closet.

Marinette stops and looks at her kwami and says "Tikki, should I wear something new like maybe one of my designs?" Tikki brightens up and rapidly nods her head yes.

When Marinette comes out of the closet Tikki squeals "Marinette you look beautiful!" Mari is wearing a mid-thigh dress, it is a one shoulder dress with a small black belt around her waist with a black cat head in the middle, adding a touch of Chat Noir. The dress is all pink with black spots all over it representing ladybug as well as some of her.

Marinette manipulated her crouches so she could spin in place to show Tikki every side of the dress. Marinette excitedly said, "Ok now I want to have my hair down and curled. This is going to look new!" Mari sat down at her desk and curled her hair it looked beautiful on her. Then she lightly placed makeup on but not a lot. She had her black earrings in just in case an Akuma attacks. She then put on some pink flats with a black bow on the front of the shoe and she was ready to go!

(Adrien wakes up at the same time as Marinette!)

Adrien's alarm goes off and he sits up quickly and jumps out of bed then he runs to his closet. When he comes out he is wearing black jeans and a red t-shirt with an all black jacket over it.

      Adrien looked at himself in the mirror to make sure he looked good then turned to his kwami and said: "Come on Plagg lets hurry and eat so I can get to school early!" He quickly grabbed Plagg out of the air and shoved him in his bag then ran down the stairs.

When he got to the school he climbed out of the limo and it drove away. When he turned around he saw Marinette talking with Alya by the stairs. She looked beautiful, he thought, she should really wear her hair down more often.

          Then out of nowhere an arm wraps around his neck and pulls him into a head lock. He then messes up his hair with his fist. "Ok, Nino you got me, enough!" Adrien said while laughing and a smirk appeared across Nino's face. He then pumped his fists in the air in victory after letting go of Adrien.

        "Hey, Nino! Adrien." Alya said walking over to them with Marinette following close behind. "Nino, why are you so excited?"

           Nino jumped a little at Alya's voice because he didn't see her walk over and a light blush grew on his face. The Nino smirked and proudly said, "Because after so many years of me and Adrien wrestling he actually let me win!" His statement made Marinette and Alya make eye contact then burst out in laughter.

        "Good for you Nino!" Marinette said giving him a thumbs up and turning to Adrien when a red blush crept up her neck. She leaned forward and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. This which made a blush on Adrien's cheeks appear.

         "Woah, Woah, Woah! When did all this happen?" Alya said surprised at Marinette's actions. "Girl, why didn't you tell me you two were dating?"

        The blush on Marinette's cheeks grew darker and she opened her mouth but she was interrupted by a voice behind. "WHAT? No way is that little pest dating my Adrikins." Chloe walked over and wrapped her arms around his neck and tried to kiss him like always.

        Adrien unwrapped her arms from his neck and pushed her away and said "Chloe, be ni-" but Chloe cut him off by still talking.

         Chloe walked up to Marinette which made her stumble a little trying to back up. "And you need to stay away from him. You are nothing you don't deserve him only I do." Chloe said while still walking at Marinette and poking her in the shoulder. "He is a famous model and you are just a clumsy bakers daughter!"

       Chloe then pushed Marinette and because she was on crouches she fell up the ground. When silent tears started to run down her face. She quickly stumbled to her feet and used her crouches to get away quickly.

        Marinette then heard a loud slap from behind her. When she turned around she saw Chloe had a red handprint on her face and Alya was yelling at her. She saw Adrien staring at her and make a move to follow her, Marinette just started to move faster to get away from everything behind her.

Marinette runs into an alleyway and falls to her knees which sends pain through her body because of her injured leg. Then Tikki flys out of her purse with a concerned look on her face and says, "Marinette are you ok?" Marinette doesn't answer she just uses her crouches to stand up and lean against the wall of the building.

"Tikki, spots on!!"

Adrien sees Marinette look back at the group with tears in her eyes and he starts to move toward her as she speeds off. Then someone grabs his wrist and says, "Adrikins, don't pay attention to her she is nothing come on we are going to be late for class."

Adrien was still facing the direction Marinette ran off in. He then yanked his wrist out of Chloe's grasp which makes her gasp. He turned to her and loudly says, "Chloe stop this, stop being mean to everyone please I am begging you. Marinette and I are together now so if you still want to be friends with me be nice to her." He stops and takes a deep breath and continues softer this time "I am not saying you have to be friends just get along with her. For me."

With that, he left her standing there and ran off in the direction she took off in. Then he sees a red clad figure flying over the buildings and he knew exactly where she was going. He went into the nearest ally and said: "Plagg, claws out!!"

____________________________________________On the Eiffel Tower____________________________________________

    He lands on the top of the tower he walks to the opposite side and sees his partner sitting on the edge with her legs hanging off. He walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her while sitting down. He then said, "My lady don't pay attention to anything.."

   She cut him off by yelling "But Chat I can't!" She took a deep breath and a tear ran down her face then she lowered her voice and said "I can't ignore her when she's right. I am nothing and you are everything. I don't even know how you could possibly like me." Ladybug pulled her knees to her chest and cried into them.

       Chat Noir was shocked at his lady's word because he had thought she knew why he loved her with how last night happened. He had never realized just how self-conscious she was about everything that happened, especially with Chloe pointing out every little mistake as if it they were bigger than they actually were. He puts his hand under chin and turns her face so he can see her eyes. "Shh. Don't say that you are amazing, you are brave, selfless, caring, thoughtful, and so much more."

        Still looking into his eyes and tears still rolling down her cheeks. She sniffs and looks away from him then says. "That isn't me, it's Ladybug."

       Chat grabs her hand and brings it up to his lips then kisses it. "No, it is you, Ladybug and Marinette." He turns her head back to him and kisses her lips. It shocks her a little at first then she melts into him.

      She turns around putting her hands in his golden blond locks and her legs around his waist. His hands were on her back holding her to him. When he pulled away he looked at the blush growing even brighter on her cheeks as he looks at her. "We need to go back to school we already missed the first half of school and lunch is almost over."

         Ladybug agreed and they jumped off and headed to school to finish the rest of the day off.
