3rd person POV

Jessica arrived to Texas safely her brother Julian introduced her to the neighbors that happened to be freshman like her they were twin siblings Mariana and Lucas a few weeks into school they became close friends and sticked together it came to there sophomore year when Mariana and her joined modeling they were just getting trained but Jessica really enjoyed it plus she was with her best friend she moved out of her  brothers' home but her new  house was still near by so she could walk to her friends and brothers Jessica was happy she still kept contact with Joanna and Angie and Joel would text her at times just to see how she was doing although she would give him short responses knowing that was Yoandri's best friend she never talked about him. She has small feelings for Lucas and so does he and he makes it clear that he likes her but she got trust issues after her incident he respected that decision and he promised her he'd wait till she was ready. The only problem here is she doesn't think she'll ever be ready Mariana and Jessica made a promise that after graduation they would compete together as Nuestra Belleza Latina
Now Yoandri still has feelings for her his room is only pictures of her or of them together because he has hope that someday they'll meet again he didn't make it in La Banda Joel and him still kept contact as well it was tough with Joel traveling around always concerts but he always made time for his best friend they had bumps in the road but they always got back together Yoandri got signed around 3 months after the competition he was currently writing his own songs and when he could he would make concerts for his fans his  first album was only covers of songs but his next he knew will only be originals  girls tried getting at him but his heart only belonged to Jessica he would insist that Joanna and Angie would tell him how she was doing and where she was but they wouldn't say anything they just kept quiet although he did see pictures of her fifteen her dance partner ended up being Lucas Yoandri fell under depression he attempted killing himself but somehow Joanna always walked in on him once Joanna explained to him Jessica had trust issues with boys he felt both relieved and guilty knowing he was the cause of that he's now in senior year but he isn't planning on attending college since he's already signed and doesn't think it's necessary for his career he isn't wrong but his mom insists he should have a back up plan
Joanna ended up dating Jaime and Angie is also in a relationship leaving Yoandri third wheeling all the time

Jessica's POV

   "Lucas give it back " I say trying to take my phone out of his hands I'm only 5'0 and he's 8 inches taller than me so no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get my phone
"I'll give it to you for a kiss " he says
"Jessica don't do it it's not worth it " Mariana teases
Lucas glares at her lowering my phone I take this opportunity to pull it out of his hands
" wow look what you did " he tells Mariana
"Shut up " she tells him
They're always fighting but it's fine because it's pretty entertaining watching them
"Hey i didn't bring lunch so I'm going to the vending machine " I tell them getting out of my seat
"We didn't bring anything either so let's go " Mariana says also getting out of her seat and Lucas following behind
"Jess why do you have trust issues " Lucas asks
" people have lying issues " I say putting my money in
"That is very true " Mariana says
"You guys want to come over I have no homework" I ask them
" why not " Lucas says
" we have cheer practice at 5:30 though " Mariana says
" oh that's right well you can come change at my house and while we wait we'll be together "  I say
"Deal"

Well that's the chapter Lucas and Mariana are above and I think I'm not 100% sure but a Yoandri POV won't come until later chapters
