Jessica's pov

It's been about 3-4 weeks since the incident at the mall happened I just ignored it since he said he did it cause the guy seemed like he would hurt me. I agreed that boy did seem like a player so yea I thanked him for that but after that we just left it in the past forgotten. Yoandri and me get closer each day but I'm scared of catching feelings I don't know he's a junior and I'm a freshman there's a two year difference but I mean age is just a number right, no I shouldn't be thinking like this he doesn't even like me.
I was currently watching gossip girl in my living room my mom was working so like usual I was home alone I got bored since I was just repeating season 1 episodes and I already knew what was going to happen I called over Angie but she was in Oregon with her family and Joanna well she was sick and she didn't want to "infect" me . We're on winter break so we finally got to turn in the baby Yoandri and I got a 'A' cause obviously together we make great parents , wait ew why am I thinking of that. I got up to go get some popcorn since I skipped some seasons and now it was getting good I'm playing I was just hungry by the time I got back I see yoandri sitting on my couch. What are you doing here you creep I said

Not much just watching gossip girl you know the usual he said holding in his laugh

I couldn't help it i started laughing he sounded like a girl and so basic I turned to look at him and he was already staring with a small smile and his eyes they were kind of watery. I automatically stopped laughing and stared at him
"Are you okay "i asked concerned he was fine a minute ago what happened to him

"Um yea " he said scratching the back of his neck
"Yoandri " I said
"Promise you won't get mad at what I'm about to do "  he said staring at my eyes
"I mean it depends yea I guess bu- " I was cut off by Yoandri smashing his soft  lips against mine I kissed back but pulled away fast he was my first kiss and with that I realized I do have feelings for him.
" you promised you won't get mad" he said smirking
I laughed "you're an idiot" I said
"Yoandri" I said turning to look at him
"Yes " he said
"Um well you were my first kiss" I said kind of blushing
"Good" he said " and I'll be your last"
"What " I said confused
" Jessica will you be my girlfriend "he said taking a ring out of his leather jacket
"W-what " I said stuttering
"Ever since I bumped into you and cracked your Phone I liked you then you started getting interested in Jaime so i told him to not do that to me and that's when he told you he couldn't be with you then you got sad and I felt guilty but it was all worth it cause me and you got really close " he said
I was shocked and it kind of made me smile at the fact he liked me since the beginning
"But why the ring " I said
" it's a promise ring , I answered your questions  now you answer mine " he said
" yes I'll be your girlfriend but you didn't have to get me a ring you know " I said hugging him he started smiling really big
"But why were your eyes watery " I asked
"Nervous " he said " don't worry about that though let's go to McDonald's "
" alright let me go change wait here " I said  and ran upstairs

Yoandri's pov

Well I did it I kissed her and Asked her out she said yes and no one understands how happy that makes me I just don't know how I'll tell her I'm Leaving to Miami in two months I'm auditioning for this competition called la Banda it's always been my dream to be a singer and Jessica knows that plus she's really understanding and strong just then she came down wearing my fedora
"I'll take that " I said pulling the fedora of her head she punched me than continued walking McDonald's was right around the corner so we didn't have to take a car , around five minutes later we arrived Jessica got in line and ordered some chicken nuggets with Sprite then it was my turn
"Um I'll have the same except with a medium mccafe " I said
"Okay what size would you like your drink " she said I could hear Jessica giggling in the background
"Umm medium " I said
"Okay that will be 10.65 "
Jessica tried paying but I didn't let her we ate our food and made our way back to our house
"Oh by the way Joanna isn't really sick and Angie is back from Oregon " i said
"What why didn't they want to hang out with me " she said
" because they knew I was going to ask you out" I said
"Wow" she said
" you want to go visit them " I suggested "they're together at Joanna's "
"Sure why not " she said
We walked to Jo's house they know I'm leaving and they thought I was going to tell Jessica today but I couldn't do it.
We knocked on the door and Angie opened it
"Guess who's a couple" Jessica said
I smiled at the sound of that me and Jessica together unfortunately we won't be for so long Joanna snapped me out of my thoughts when she pulled me to the hallway
"You didn't tell her did you " she said
"No I couldn't I want to enjoy her happiness a little longer "
"You're going to hurt her more if you don't tell her now "
"I'll tell her next month I promise "
"Look Yoandri if you don't tell her I will you have till next month "
With that she walked away now I'm more nervous the thing I want less in this world is to hurt Jessica and Joanna's right the longer I wait the more pain it will cause
"Jess you want to go "
"Um sure "
We said our goodbyes and walked out
"Uh Jess I need to tell you something really important "
"What is it " she said smiling at me
"Well in two months um uh I'll love you more then I love you now " I said
"You're weird " she said
"Hey can we sleepover tonight"
"Why today we'll have plenty of time on the future together plus I don't think our parents will let us now that we're dating" she said
"Please " I said
"Fine"
