I Wanna Hold Your Hand So Tight. I'm Gonna Break My Wrist.

I woke up to the sound of Jaime being loud like he always is. It was brighter than I last remembered in the bus, so apparently it was already morning.
Wait, bus? Oh yeah.......I decided to give in and stay with them. But....where am I exactly? I opened my eyes fully and saw that I was in a bunk. Okay, so that's where I was. I bet it was Vic's. I don't remember much of what happened last night after I agreed to stay with them. I think I ended up laying down on the couch and drifting off to sleep and apparently Vic carried me to his bunk while I slept.
Where is he?
Well, if I want the answer then I guess I'm going to have to find out myself. I forced myself out of my current laying position and hopped out of the bunk. My fee hit the cold floor and a shiver went up my frail body.

"Melody, hey!" Jaime greeted as I entered the living area. I gave a slight wave and spotted Mike who was seated. They were the only ones in here apparently. "Good morning, Melody," he said, and I gave him a quick and fake small smile. "Morning," I said back, feeling as if I should be polite. I mean, I love the guys. They're awesome. And I happen to share the love of turtles with Tony. They're just so adorable.
"Um......."
"Vic's outside with Tony talking about something. He actually told us to tell you to meet him wherever he was when you wake up so........you might wanna do that," Jaime said, and I nodded, pulling at the sleeves of my shirt to cover me more. I need a jacket pretty desperately. I just.......don't have money. That's the main reason why I'm so skinny. My ribs are visible but Vic will never know that.

I walked outside in my black shorts and long sleeve shirt, shivering helplessly from the breeze. I could easily get chills in the summer these days. That's how bad it can get.

I sighed in relief when I found Vic talking to Tony just like Jaime had said. When Vic spotted me, he stopped their conversation and smiled, walking over to me quickly. "Good morning," he said, walking up to me like an excited teenager. "Did you sleep well? Were you okay in there?" I nodded. "Yes, I slept just fine. Thank you for letting me sleep in your bunk," I said, pulling at my sleeves even more and he glanced down at them, then back up at me. "Uh, yeah. I figured you needed your space probably......so I slept on the couch," he said, shrugging it off but I felt kind of bad for invading his bed practically.

"You didn't.....have to do that. I could have taken the couch instead," I said. "Honestly, I was fine right there."

"I know......but you're separated from everyone and......it's just better where you were," he said, looking down at my sleeves once again but this time his eyes trailed down to my pale legs that were free to the world and freezing me to death.

"Are you cold?" He asked, seeing my struggle and I knew I couldn't just say no. That would be ridiculous. So, I just nodded, letting out a nervous laugh.

"It's fine. Did you have a jacket back with your stuff?" He asked, knowing what little amount of things I had in my backpack that I always carry around with me. I shook my head. "No. Not anymore at least," I answered.

"Are you seriously cold? It's not far from being pretty warm out here," he said, and I nodded. "I'm not gonna lie that I'm pretty chilly," I stated and he chuckled. "Alright, then. Why don't we go back inside the bus so you don't catch a cold or something. We wouldn't want that," he said with care as he draped his arm over my shoulders and lead me back to the bus.

"There you guys are. I was wondering if she was ever going to find you," Jaime said as we entered the bus and Vic let out a chuckle. "It's not like I went far or anything," he said, and Jaime shrugged as he made breakfast. "You like eggs, right Mel?" He asked me, and I nodded, liking the little nickname he gave me. It made me feel welcome and loved. I really liked that. It was weird that all this was happening so fast. I hardly know the guys and Vic invited me to stay with them just last night but I guess I'll get used to it all.
