When it's Over I'll Count Back to Ten, and You can Listen to Glass Hearts....

After emerging from the shower and dressing quickly, I towel dried my hair the best I could before pulling it up in a messy bun for once, securing it with a headband then making my way to Vic's bunk immediately. I was angry. No, I was infuriated. I couldn't believe how ridiculous I was being and all I wanted right now was to be left alone, and sleep so I can move on one more day in my life. Maybe I would wake up in the morning and possibly forget about this. It might not be as big of a deal tomorrow and that's what I'm hoping.

I quickly opened the curtain to his bunk, seeing as Vic was nowhere in sight, then crawled inside, facing the wall and wrapping myself in the blanket as I mentally scolded myself for what I just did. I am weak. I just proved that I was weak by doing that. My own mind was tricking me. I couldn't believe this. Then again, I totally could.

It didn't take me long to actually drift off into a dreamless sleep where my mind shut down and stopped telling me worthless tricks and lies.

I awoke to the sound of someone moving around and then the bunk curtain was opened. I already knew who it was. No duh that it was Vic himself since it's his bunk.

I felt him lazily lay himself down behind me as I continued to face the opposite way of him, and then sigh before letting his arm sling over my waist. He slowly and carefully pulled me closer to him so that now I could feel his heartbeat behind me. I wanted to feel it like earlier, so I pretended I was still asleep but turned around so that I was now facing his chest. He responded immediately by pulling me close and laying on his back with me on top, allowing me to cuddle into him and feel his heartbeat that had just now started to beat rapidly. I slowly let my hand rest on his torso, rubbing it slowly in a way that to me would possibly calm his heart down, but that just made it beat even faster and louder against my ear. I couldn't believe that I was the cause of this. It made me half-smile momentarily at the thought.

"What are you smiling about?" He mumbled, his voice tired and I peeked up at him to see he just laid there with his head rested back and his eyes closed.

Should I say it? Should I just tell him why?

"Oh yeah, Vic. I'm smiling because I love how your heartbeat increases when I touch you."

That should be worded differently.

"Um.....nothing," I dismissed, laying my head back down and getting comfortable.

"Are you sure it's nothing?" He asked.

"No," I admitted. "It's actually something but I'll save the answers for the morning."

"Sounds good to me. Goodnight, darling," he spoke.

"Goodnight," I whispered back, shutting my eyes and this time actually falling asleep until morning came.

"RISE AND SHINE AND GET UP, UP, UP! RISE AND SHINE AND GET UP, UP, UP! RISE AND SHINE AND GE-"

"SHUT THE F.UCK UP, WOULD YOU!?"

"What would be the fun in that? He doesn't get to annoyingly wake us up each morning if he stops," Tony muttered as he walked into the lounge area.

"But we're all already awake, dumbass," Mike said, rolling his eyes and Tony just shrugged.

As usual, Jaime was being the loud and crazy one, but I love that about him.

"Oooooooh! Couple fight!" Jaime shouted between Mike and Tony. They both turned to him with death glares causing him to raise his hands in surrender.
