Ch 19 : Blast from the Past..

Recap to past: Nandu's birthday bash.

Nandini's POV:

I reached home, freshened my self and went straight to bed. We had to resume shoot from tomorrow so I definitely needed some good sleep before that.

I looked at my phone and there was a message from him at 11:59pm. I felt so bad that I missed it.

It read..
"Happy Birthday Little one! Your special day is over and so is our break ;) Be ready to get back into the professional zone :D"

I laughed reading it because this time I knew he was only teasing me.

But what if he wasn't?

Aaaiyo, I realised it's actually too late and I should sleep rather than thinking all this stupidness.

I replied to him with some smileys, kept my phone aside and slept. A peaceful sound sleep.

I woke up next day with a loud thud. Yes! Shruti threw a pillow at me with full force to wake me up and burst out laughing.

"What the hell, yeh koi tareeka hota hai kissi ko uthane ka?" I asked her making a grumpy face.

"Hello madam! Birthday over, pampering over. Samjhi?" She said still laughing.

I made a bad irritated face and got up. I checked my phone, like always as my daily habit and saw my sns buzz with notifications.

I facepalmed myself seeing it. Ohkay wow! The valentines week has begun.
Being the filmy dramatic girl that I am, I am always  very excited for this period. So much happiness around, eeks.

"Acha listen btw, I'm leaving for Chennai today. Will be back after two weeks. " Shruti said abruptly and I gaped at her.

"aur tu yeh ab bata rahi hai?" I said seriously.

"Sorry yaar nandu, I got to know day after and it was your birthday so I  didn't want to spoil it. " she said with a frown.

I got up from bed and hugged her lightly.

"You dicter. Leaving me alone on valentines week? God is watching!" I said dramatically to lighten up the mood and we both laughed.
