CHAPTER 3

The next two went by a blur, while discussing about the project and some other important meetings to attend.The third day I woke up to annoying sound of my alarm clock. Yes, I still hate my alarm clock or you can say to wake up. I finished my daily routine and got ready to leave for work. I wore a peach T-shirt and a white floral jacket and a black pant. I wasn't in mood for some formal today so just some thing casual. I got in my Audi and the driver took me to my office.
After that incident in the lobby with those girls I don't see much of employees down here. That's good. I go to office and as usual tell Scarlet to enlighten me with my today's schedule.I had two meetings today. One regarding the presentation for Radiance.Inc. and the second is regarding some other project.
At 12pm I had my 1st meeting with Ben, Joey and other six employees. Each and every1 have ideas about how we should design the building and the interior. I heard their proposal but 1 got stuck in my mind by Hanna, she is a bright designer and always comes up with great ideas, but I decided to discuss it with Ben and Joey. I dismissed all of them and we three started discussing about the meeting.
"I like Hanna's designs. She has a good concept." I said.
"I think her interior design ideas are good, but about the exterior I am a little confused."Ben said.
Joey also agreed with ben, "I think Ben's right. Her ideas for interior are good. We will have to see about the exterior, I think Sean's exterior ideas were quite impressive. What do you guys think?"
"Yup. I agree with that. Aanya, his ideas were also good." Ben said.
"Hmm. How about we use their ideas together and come up with a conceptual drawing?" I suggested.
"That's perfect."
"I like it." Joey and Ben answered together. I laugh and asked them to inform the team about our decision and we will start working from tomorrow. They agreed and left.
After that I went for lunch and attended the other meeting. When I entered my cabin I was going to sit on my chair when all of a sudden Ben came out of no where and scared the living day lights out of me.

"Ben. What the fuck! God you scared the shit out of me. What do you want..?" I asked with a hand on my heart.
He smirked. Oh this cant be good. Why god.. I am tired. I just want to sleep.
"Bennn why are u smirking? What do u have in your mind. Whatever it is, I can't do it or come with you. I am hella tired, so not today." I said.
"Please Pinky Poo.. Please.. I just want you to do one favour. Help me pack. You know I hate it. Please" He gave me his best puppy face.
"Pinky Poo..?? Really Ben. And what is it with you giving me stupid nicknames.?"
"I like giving you names. It makes you know that you're special. Soo Pinky Pooo please help me in this matter. This world is just cruel. Why do you have to pack when you go out. Its so frustrating. Please Aanya." Again the puppy face. He knows it's my weakness.
"Fine Drama Queen. Give me 15 minutes n we can leave." I sighed. Before he can leave I added "Diners on you Ben" he walked out saying a 'yes done'.
We went to Ben's house. Sapphire was already there waiting for us. We helped Ben pack and I returned to my house after having dinner.
Days after days passed, Ben left two days ago and tomorrow is the day of presentation. I am happy with the final product that we have achieved. I'm sure its going to make an impression and we will get the project. Today was a hectic day and I was excited for tomorrow's presentation which was at 2pm. Everything was set and tomorrow it will be just me and Joey who would go for the presentation.
As next morning came, I decided to wear a brown color straight fit dress that had a boat neck and was sleeveless and added minimal yet professional makeup, finishing my look by adding a pair of brown heels. After getting ready I went to the office to discuss some end minute technicalities and discussions.
Joey came to my cabin, "Ma'am, we are absolutely ready to go. When are we leaving?"
"That's good Joey. We will leave at 12.30 and have our lunch, then will proceed to the meeting." I said.
"Ok ma'am. I will be ready at 12.30." He confirmed..
"Good" I said.
At 12.30 we left the office building and had lunch in a small dinner called 'Carters'. It may be a small dinner but serves good food. I Ben and Saph often come here for lunch. After having lunch we headed to the venue where the presentation was being held.
It was around 30 minutes from my office, so we reached there around 1.45pm. At sharp 2 we were called to the conference room. We took our seat and were given the schedule of whose going to present, in numerical order. There were suppose to be 7 companies including ours. Our turn was 4th. We were seated in the conference room and one by one the company owners entered with their presenters.
Whom I saw next was a complete shock for me. It was KADEN, my high school crush and the person that I hate now.
