**BACK TO PRESENT**

AANYA'S POV

I felt someone nudging me from my side, when I turned I saw that Joey was trying to get my attention. That's when I realized that the presentation is over and every1 is heading outside. I was confused as to what happened, who got the project, I had no idea, all thanks to my past and that A*s Kaden.

We went and sat in the cafeteria.

"What's wrong Aanya? You seem lost." Joey asked.

"I am fine Joey. I just zoned out there. What exactly happen?" I asked frustrated. This was suppose to be the best day of my life but he had to come and ruin it. Why am I even thinking about him. Screw him.

" Aanya we did really good. By the look of it Mr. Richardson was quite impressed by us. They said they need time to think. So we all are waiting for their decision." He told me.

"Hmm. Lets hope we get this project." I said and started drinking my coffee. I felt as if some one was staring at me.When I looked up, it was Kaden who was looking at me with hard expression. After a second or so, I just ignored him and went back to my conversation with Joey.

About an hour later Mr. Richardson's secretary came outside.

"Members of Grace Design.Inc and Ford Architect.Inc please come with me. Every one else, thank you for coming. We appreciate it." She informed us.

At this moment the only thing going in my mind was that, why two companies were made to wait. I swear if Kaden ruined this moment for me I am going to kill him. We follow her to the conferred room and enter it. Mr. Richardson was sitting there with two projects laid in front of him.

"Have a seat." He said pointing towards the chairs.

I and Joey sat on one side of him and Kaden and his presenter on the other side. After we were seated Mr. Richardson spoke.

"You guys must be wondering, why have I called both of you. Well u see Miss. William here have a impeccable concept and design ideas for the Interior of my firm and Mr. Ford you have equally good design ideas for the exterior. Your designs Ms. Williams have covered all my requirement for interiors. And your designs have a certain flow that I like. Mr. Kaden you have a unique design for the building, its unique yet classy. So after a lot have discussion with my Team, we have come to a conclusion. As no one was ready to choose in between the two designs, we have decided that we will combine both of your designs and create a master piece."

I blinked. Once...Twice. Did he just say that I have to work with Kaden Ford? No way in hell is it possible.

"NO!" I nothing but yelled. Then I glared at Kaden and he was doing the same.

"It's not like I am very keen in working with you" Kaden retorted.

"Sir, I can assure you our firm will be able to produce good designs than these, if you give us the entire project" I tried to argue with Mr. Richardson.

"I am sure you can Miss. Williams but as I said, it's a joint decision. Our entire team came to this solution." He said.

"Sir there has to be some other way. I have no intentions of working with her." Kaden stated

"Same here. I would prefer if you can do some changes and give the project to our firm sir."

"As I said previously, it's not gonna happen. Now it's on you both if you want the project or not." Mr. Richardson said.
