A Letter To The Moon

Dear Mr. Moon, how are you?
I haven't seen you for a while.
I thought I would never see you again.
I'm glad that you're back.
You were fat and round the last time I saw you.
Now, look at you, you've gone thin again.
Haven't you eaten anything yet?
My mom baked cookies for me.
I can share it with you if you want.

Are you tired, Mr. Moon?
Why are you sitting on the top of that building?
Are you sick? Should I call a doctor?
And why are the stars crawling down the buildings?
Did you fight with them again?
Even the clouds are flying away from you.
Should I talk to them?
I hate to see you alone.
You should have friends with you.
Do not worry, I'll call Jupiter and the others.
But of course, I need a telescope for me to find them.
I'll ask my dad tomorrow to buy me one.

I told my friends about you.
They laughed at me, saying I'm crazy.
They said that you will never talk back because you don't have mouth.
But I'm not talking to you, I'm writing you a letter.
