He stood waiting behind the dark and rather putrid building. It's outside rotting from decomposition and years of age.
He paced the uneven ground like a cat waiting for its prey.
Yet he was sure this was the right decision. Without merely a sound, a figure emerged from somewhere he did not see. He was left to rather guess where it came from.Unexpectedly a soft hint of sweet pine enriched his senses. Curiosity came down upon him.
The stranger came closer, but Michael held his ground.She pulled back a dark hood, concealing her features.
Michael was surprised and studied her features with a great deal of awe.
Her hair was darker then the richest licorice. Her lips were brighter and more bold then a rose. And her eyes were like the Caribbean sea after a storm.
He was not expecting a woman, better yet a young girl, to deliver the message he sought.
She had to of been no older then twenty years." why do you look confused, young man? Am I not who you expected to greet you?" Her voice was soft and articulated with great care of words.
" I cannot lie, for I indeed expected someone who could..."
Michael paused, unsure of how to use his words without offending."Someone who could handle situations like these?" She cocked her head, a certain pure innocence in her bold eyes.
" you underestimate me so, sir. For I have seen mountains move, and fall..."
