STORY PROMPTS LIST #2

HEY HEY! So it's Thursday and I forgot to post another list yesterday. I'm sorry :/

But ill make up for it today! I've had allergies all week last week and I was sore I couldn't even sit haha.

So here's the list, that I painfully wrote. *sighs* Totally kidding!

I'd love suggestions and comments! Let me know what you think :))

1. The lights go out for five seconds. When they turn back on,you see a note stuck to your window. It says one word. "Run."

2. "Pull the trigger, PULL IT" he screamed as he took the gun being held in his enemy's hand, and pressed it against his own stomach.
"I CAN'T" his enemy screamed. "I CANT KILL YOU"
Why cant he/she pull the trigger?

3. She pulled the knife from her chest and smiled. "Was that supposed to hurt?"

4. With that she walked into the rain and didn't look back. That was the last time anyone ever saw her.

5. "There are at least seventeen ways this could have gone better. Literally. Like, I'm counting them right now, you moron."

6. I hit play and watched myself in the recording. But what I saw wasn't what I remembered.

7. Write a story that involves a countdown. Start the story at 10 and end the story at 0.

8. "I don't know," he shrugged. "Somtimes I pray for patience. Sometimes I pray for a gun."

9. Use the first line of a nursery rhyme as the first line of a dark narrative.

10. "No, sir. I am not underestimating the kidnappers. YOU are underestimating my grandma."

11. You have the ability to freeze time. When you do, everyone freezes as well. One day, you freeze time, and out the window you see a girl moving around.

12. Suzanne has a secret. Danny has the key. Sam is bleeding out on the table. And no one has seen Greg since he left for food 4 hours ago.

14. A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I'm dragging a body behind me should be irrelevant.

17. Write the saddest crying scene you can think of between a girl and a boy. Except this is the first time they've ever met.

18. "Your death will be slow, but if you tell me a story, ill make it painless."

20. Subjects 3 and 7 had escaped the perimeter.

21. " I know I've said it before, but it bears repeating. Don't provoke the ducks."

22. What are the top three most important qualities in a lover?
Assign those qualities to your antagonist, and write what happens next.

23. The dragons downstairs were up til two in the morning, and the banshee upstairs was up at six doing vocal exercises.
