CHAPTER FIVE
Shopping Spree
June 3, 2010. Thursday. Aimee had been busy the whole day.
7:00 AM
She woke up. She usually woke up earlier when she was still living in the apartment with Ivan but she hadn’t acclimatized herself yet in Ramil’s penthouse. She was doing her five-minute morning stretching exercises just wearing the purple wine knickers set.
Ramil went inside her room through the connecting door. She then realized there was no need to lock up the connecting door. He was already dressed up in a brown business suit. His shirt was of pale yellow color.
She continued exercising. He waited until she stopped.
He spoke, “So, you do exercise.”
She answered, “Yes, five minutes every morning. Just some stretching.”
He said, “You can always go downstairs to the gym. Sign up for some classes if you want.”
She said, “Okay. I’ll check on it sometimes.”
He approached and handed her his credit card. “You need to do more shopping. Guada would know where to bring you. You need to fill in those empty spaces on your closet. You will also need to accompany me to a wedding of a friend at Isla Esperanza.”
She accepted it then asked, “Will you be leaving for work now?”
“Yes,” he answered. He gave her lips a quick kiss and then he left her room using the main door.
Guada knocked and entered the room together with a maid with a tray of breakfast.
Greetings had been exchanged.
She started asking questions, “What time does Ramil usually wake up, Guada?”
Guada answered, “He’s already up by 5:00 AM, ma’am?”
“Does he eat breakfast here?”
Guada said, “Yes, ma’am. His breakfast is usually served at 6:00 AM.”
“What time does he leave for work?”
Guada uttered, “7:00 AM or earlier, ma’am.”
Aimee said, “I’m still not used sleeping here. I’m finding it very hard to wake up early.”
Guada said, “Sir, specifically told us not to wake you up. He knows you have troubles sleeping.”
“Yeah, I cannot sleep well. My brother is still not doing very well,” Aimee admitted. “Do you know what time my secretary/assistant will arrive?”
Guada answered, “She is expected to come at 8:00 AM, ma’am. We will now prepare your bath.”
“I will just take a shower every morning, Guada. Then I would like my bath every evening before dinner,” she said.
“Okay, ma’am. You can now have your breakfast and I’ll prepare your clothes,” Guada replied.
“Thank you, Guada,” she thanked the female butler with a smile on her face. “Ramil told me that we need to do more shopping. He said you know where to bring me.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Guada uttered and proceeded to the walk-in closet.
Aimee ate her breakfast and then took a shower.
It was exactly eight o’clock in the morning when Miss Fatima Dizon arrived. She met her at the library/study room.
The secretary/assistant was pretty and sexy. She was wearing a navy blue jacket and pencil cut above the knee-length skirt over a white collared blouse. She wore a pair of navy blue pumps. She also brought with her a black attaché case and a black handbag.
