chapter two

3 years later

•Serene's Pov•
I walked out my office and got into my car.  I was now 19 years old living on my own in Los Angeles.  Your probably wondering what happened between me and Ethan.

I went to LA for the summer.  Ethan texted me once, asking me not to go.  It's not fair for me to be held back. 

As I didn't hear from Ethan anymore LA started to become more and more permanent.  Ethan came home from his tour, and the fans let me know everything that happened. 

His fans would tweet and DM pictures of Ethan hooking up with random girls.  I guess he doesn't miss me that much.  Grayson occasionally tells me how much Ethan misses me, but I wanted to hear it from Ethan himself.

LA became a permanent living situation when Ethan announced his new girlfriend to his fans. I decided that I needed to focus on my career.

Now I am doing really well, I've signed with two movies and I went into modeling. I changed my number so that they could no longer reach me. If Ethan wants to have a new girlfriend and forget about me, let him. I love him, and I always will. He will always be apart of me, because he was for 16 years.

I walked to my apartment in Beverly Hills, and sat on the couch. I was looking through my Twitter feed and a picture caught my eye:

@serethan : my favorite couple ever, always and forever.

Bellow the tweet was a picture of me and Ethan kissing at his house. The day Jake decided to make pancakes.

I a few tears streamed down my face, and onto my phone. I broke out into a full blown crying session.

What did I do wrong?! He was on tour, we were going to come back at the same time! Why'd he just give up, when it became to hard?!

I sat on my bed still crying into my pillow when my phone rang. It was my mom.

"Hey honey, how are you!"

"Good, what's up?"

"Well i just got off the phone with your agent, and she said that the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is in New York in two weeks, and you're walking in it."

"Seriously mom?! That is amazing! Omg!"

"So I was wondering if you could fly out to New Jersey tomorrow, your dad, brother, and I all miss you."

"Umm...sure I guess"

"Ok I'll book your ticket right now, bye honey."

She hung up, I don't know if I'm ready to go back. It's been 3 years! I guess this has to happen. Maybe things will change, but I'm not sure about that...
