Yeah yeah, I know I was wrong. I just have a short temper. I am going to give her some space. I just kills me to see her hurting...especially because of me.
•Serene's Pov•
I was in shock. Of course I wanted to marry Ethan, I just didn't think he wanted to anytime soon. I immediately regretted being mad. My anger turned into sadness.
I put on one of Ethan's sweatshirts, and some spandex shorts. I held the box in awe in my hand. I held it so tightly and sat in bed. I ran my thumb up and down the velvet box until I drifted off to sleep.
•Ethan's Pov•
(Srry for all the switches)
I decided that I could go upstairs now. I walked up and I saw Serene laying on the bed. She fell asleep and her face was tear stained. She was holding the ring box. Oh god she found it. It was supposed to be a surprise.
I crawled into bed and laid next to her. I held her waist and she flinched, but seethed back into her peaceful position. I put my hand on her head and started to play with her hair, because she always does that to me. I moved my hand away for a second, and she grabbed my hand and put it back on my head. She knew it was me.
"Serene I am so sor-" I began.
"I forgive you." She said turning around to face me.
"I love you." I said kissing her cheek.
I grabbed the box from her hand and got up from the bed. I got down on one knee.
"I have known you since I was 1 years old. You have always supported me and been there for me and Grayson. We love you so much. Whenever we fought, I was usually the wrong one...still am. We've had our ups and downs, but I don't want to have anymore without having you by my side. Serene Matthews, will you marry me?" I proposed.
She started to form tears in her eyes. Happy ones.
"Ethan, I love you so much. Yes." She said kissing me.
I pulled away from the kiss and put the ring on her finger. We ran downstairs and saw Grayson.
"Grayson! My favorite in law!" She yelled jumping on his back.
"You're my favorite in law to- wait IN LAW??" He yelled.
She replied by simply showing him her ring.
"Nice Ethan, my boy pulled Serene Matthews." He said giving me a hug.
We all started laughing and we just sat and talked. It is the most happy we've been in a while.
