this was written for and requested by Kaylanie Prelipp , and sorry if there's no romance, there's a part two. (:

"Lanie?" I sighed as Patricia, the girl I worked with called me by a nickname once more. "Pat, just because you like nicknames doesn't mean others do." That might have sound a little harsh, but what do you expect? I'm a vampire who lives off of blood bags, Of course I'm going to be grouchy. "Sorry, Kaylanie, I was wondering if you could get those two in the corner.

I work at a restaurant, a small diner called Lloyds. Right next to a cross roads. Sometimes I catch someone trying to sell there soul for an extra three inches, if you know what I mean. Stupid people. Anyways, I was a big bad vampire. Not nearly as strong as one that drinks fresh blood, whether it be from animals or not. But while dead mans blood weakens even the vampires that drink from animals, it doesn't effect me the same way. Same with sunlight.

Glancing over, I almost crouch down behind the table I'm standing by. The Winchesters were here. Which means people are going to find my decapitated body somewhere, or I'm just going to disappear. "Um, Patricia, do you think you could take care of them?" she shakes her head and motions down to the pile of orders in her hand. "Sorry, I'm a little busy."

I take a deep breath. They don't know what I am yet, they could just be passing through, this was a cross roads, maybe they were looking for a demon. The Winchesters are famous. Like, there's God, there's the Winchesters, then angels, then demons. Its like they cant die, both of them have been to hell, they stopped the apocalypse, Dean has survived purgatory, they can kill anything, and now there sitting in my diner. So you can feel the panic running through my veins right now.

Walking up to there table, I give them a smile, no teeth, just in case. Don't want them to see any fangs! "Can I take your order?" Dean starts his order. "I'll have a burger, a beer, and do you have any pie?" I nod, and turn to Sam. Well he was.... handsome. times ten. I really need to stop thinking like this. I'm a vampire, I can't be attracted to the most badass hunter alive.

"I'll just have a salad and a water." He says, looking disgusted at his brothers choice in food. I cant help myself as I give him a flirtatious smile. And then almost pass out when he winks at me. Walking away, I use my vampire hearing to listen in on there conversation.

"Sam, its vampires. I'm telling you, Six people drained from blood?"

"Yea, Dean. six people. in one week. Do you know how many vampires that could be?"

Crap. I knew what they were talking about. or, rather, who they were talking about. My old coven, the ones I lived with for about a year. Long enough to make friends, not long enough to form bonds. When they found out I wouldn't drink from a human, they ran me off, threatening to kill me. Said, that I was 'poisoning the minds of the newborns with my unrealistic expectations'. What the hell does that even mean? After giving the boys there food, I sit down at there table. "You angling for a tip?" Rolling my eyes, I happen to know for a fact that Dean said that to a demon who got her eyes burned out four hours later.

"I know what your looking for." Dean smirks. "And what's that?" Ignoring him, I turn to Sam. "I know where the nest is, and how many are there." Sam gives me a weird look. I grin sheepishly. "Listen, I really don't want to have to do this." "Do what?" Dean asks. Turning back to him, I think for a second. "If you want to kill some vampires, come back here at eight, we will be closed, just knock on the door. And wear and amulet, we are right by a cross roads and you aren't like here." Getting up and walking away, I can't help but wonder what I have gotten myself into.
