Chapter 13

It's been a long time guys! I'm glad you guys still stick with me through all of my ups and downs writing! I'm so thankful for each and everyone of you! You guys are awesome!

Let's not chatter too much , to the story we go!

(Minx's POV)

I still had trouble believing it.

I couldn't believe that sooner, rather than later, I'd be out of the control of King Nanners, and back to my Chilly Willy once again.

I was spending time in my room before I had to meet with King Nanners. Duchesses Christy, Krism and Cayla were all with me, as I sat in one of the rocking chairs, holding Micayla. Duchess Krism was holding Connor, walking around the room.

Duchess Cayla kept watching me, and I didn't know why.

Finally, she asked me "Can you join me on a walk?" To which I agreed, leaving Micayla in Duchess Christy's care.

We walked across the hall, into one of the huge libraries. Duchess Cayla guided me away from the people in the castle & the doors and windows, and hugged me.

I was very surprised. I hugged her back, as a tear slowly fell down her face.

She said to me "You're so brave, and so strong. Any Prince, Duke, King, or even person is lucky to have you. I understand what you've gone through, and it's rough. But I know you can do it. I have faith in you."

She hugged me for a little while, and eventually, a tear began rolling down my face, followed by another and another. Duchess Cayla never moved and she kept hugging me, letting me cry into her dress.

"All that you've gone through, at such a young age." she said, hugging me tighter, "You will have your happy ending. I promise you that. I will do everything I can so you don't have to live with 'him' any longer." she finished, hugging me tight and shedding a few tears herself.

Once we both had stopped crying and talking, we headed back to my bedroom. WE all realized the time, and Duchess Christy and Duchess Krism put Connor and Micayla back to bed, and helped me get ready. I was wearing the outfit that I had worn when I had first met the love of my life, Prince Chilled, a dark purple dress with dark purple and black lace accents. I was also wearing purple high heels that hurt a little to walk in.

As I walked downstairs, with Duchess Cayla helping me, neither of us realized that our secret conversation wasn't so secret............

(Chilled's POV)

It was now or never.

I knew this was right, and the Duke Crew told me they'd follow me, no matter what.

Once Duke Ohm made it back on the rotation of guards, he brought guard uniforms for us. He helped us dress into guards, and set it up as if we'd escaped under the changing of the guards.

Needless to say, we got out. We reported with Duke Ohm to King and Queen Manga. When I saw them, my blood began boiling, because they were the oblivious ones that were letting King Nanners get away with everything.

But, I kept my cool, and stood at attention, as Duke Ohm spoke to the King.

King Manga actually was about to request guards to escort Princess Minx, Duke Sark, Duke Hutch and King Nanners to come visit the Manga Kingdom, so this was our shot.

They got the carriage there prepared, and we walked alongside it, ready to go.

King Nanners better watch out, we're coming.

(Nanner's POV)

Ahhh, Duke Sark and Duke Hutch will always be my closest advisors.

It was lucky, both of them managed to hear the plan of getting Princess Minx out.....

But Princess Minx and her crew don't know that we know......................yet.
