(Prior to the beginning of the story)
(Minx's POV)
I can't believe my parents are taking me to meet this prince! I'm 16, I shouldn't have to deal with these things this early. But, I don't really have a say, do I?

Sorry, I'll back up. My name is Michelle, well it's Princess Michelle. However, I feel Michelle is too girly and dainty. I took to the nickname Minx, and that's what most people who know me call me. I'm the only daughter, and only child of King and Queen Manga, and we live in one of the more powerful kingdoms around. Many other kingdoms come to us for help and aid. That being said, I'm also the only current princess in our nearby land, which means a lot of suitors come, hoping for my heart.

(Back to the story)

Today, we were off to meet with the Chaos kingdom. They apparently have one son, who's about my age. As I sat in our carriage in a dark purple dress, I looked out the window, zoning out.

I snapped back into focus when my dad started calling my name.
"MINX! ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION!!" He said, angrily.
"No dad," I said, lowering my head, paying attention.
"As I was saying, we're almost there. We'll be staying one night, however, you've got to share a room with Prince Chilled."
"Dad?!? Really?!?" I replied, a little annoyed. I like my personal space!!
"Yes really. No buts." He said sternly.
"Ok." I said, with fake cheerfulness lacing my voice.

Once we made it to their kingdom, one of their servants helped me out of the carriage, and I was greeted with a kiss on my hand by a younger boy my age. "Welcome, Princess Michelle." He said,
"I'm Prince Anthony."

OMG! This was who they were talking about?!?! He's so nice, charming, and good-looking to boot!
'Looks like someone's got a crush..." My brain began, but I shooed the thought away, wanting to learn a little more about him before thinking about him like that!

But just as I turned to my mom and dad for any sort of advice, they walked away with King and Queen Chaos, leaving me with Prince Anthony. "So, Prince Anthony..." I began

"Please call me Prince Chilled, Princess Michelle." he interupted.

"If I'm going to call you Prince Chilled, please call me Princess Minx." I said, smiling over at him.

"Ok Princess Minx." he said, smiling. He grabbed my hand, and we walked into the castle grounds. He showed me around, and we ended up sitting down next to one of the fountains in the royal gardens. We asked each other so many questions about the other person, and I learned alot about Prince Chilled. I felt a little flutter in my stomach as I was talking to him: I think I'm in love. It soon got really late, so Prince Chilled led me to the dining hall, where I sat next to him to eat.

(Chilled's POV)
As I sat down to eat next to Princess Minx, I felt like there was something between us: a connection. We continued asking each other about things that we liked, and we continued talking to each other, even after dinner was over.

(Minx's POV)
After we finished talking, Prince Chilled led me up to his room, where we were going to sleep. A servant in the house brought me a nightgown dress in light lavender to change into.

I went off to a bathroom to change, and walked back into the bedroom. Chilled had already changed into pajamas, and was laying in his side of the bed. I hoped into the other side of the bed, and we continued talking for a little while until we both fell asleep.

(Chilled's POV)
I awoke to the sound of screams, and swords clashing. I got up, and quickly awoke Princess Minx. "Princess Minx, we need to get up! I think there are intruders!!"
She got up immediately and stood behind me, watching the door nervously.
We were unfortunately too late.
The door to our room blasted open, revealing three people. The one that I assumed to be the leader let out a dolphin-like laugh, before speaking. "Well, well, well...if is isn't Prince Chilled and Princess Minx. Hutch, Sark, get them."
The two other people, who we now knew to be Hutch and Sark, came over to us. Sark grabbed me around my arms, and kneeled me down. Hutch walked over to Minx, and did the same.
The leader approached me first. "Well, well, well, Prince Chaos. Your family has done so much damage to us, and our kingdom."
I just remembered. "King Nanners." I said, anger lacing my voice.
Nanners slapped me across the face. "Is that really how you want to be treating your superiors?" He looked from me to Minx. "She doesn't even know, does she? She doesn't know what your family has done. YOUR FAMILY WILL PAY!"

(Minx's POV)
After they had just started to take a break from tormenting us, the door opened, and in walked King and Queen Chaos, holding swords. "Chilled! Minx! Get out! We'll distract them!"
Chilled and I broke out the window, and ran. We kept running and running. But we got separated, and I made my way, in my torn up dress and bare feet, back to our castle, where my parents were waiting. They hugged me tightly, before I went up to bed.

(Chilled's POV)
I stumbled to an abandoned house on the outskirts of the Manga kingdom. 'Perfect. Nanners and his goons have taken over my family's kingdom. I can't go back now.'
I walked into the house to see four bodies, laying down, talking to each other. They looked up at me, with half happiness from seeing me, and half sadness because of what had just happened to our kingdom.
I had just found my best friends, the Dukes of our Chaos kingdom, the Derp Crew.
Duke Ze, Duke Smarty, Duke GaLm, and Duke Tom.
"Welcome back, Prince Chilled. Welcome to our humble abode for now."
They made a spot for me to sleep, and we caught up. Once I told him what happened between Nanners and his goons, Princess Minx, and I, they were shocked.
