kora;

6:48 pm

Once again, late.  Justin is always late. Justin's my boyfriend, a terrible boyfriend at that. I think we've been on three dates, and this is before I agreed to be his girlfriend, as soon as I said yes, he was outta here.

I looked down into my coffee cup, the cup that was filled with stale coffee. I ran my thumb around the rim up the mug and took a deep sigh. While occasionally checking the streets outside the window, I hummed silently along with Taylor Swift playing in the background. After a few minutes, I noticed a presence sit in the booth across me. I looked up and saw an insanely good looking man in front of me. "Hey." He smiled cheekily. "Hello." I gave a weary smile and a small wave. "You looked sad, so I wanted to come over to you." He looked familiar, but in an unrealistic way.

"well, I guess you could say I am, but I'll get over it." I gave a small laugh for him to disregard it. "Okay.. Well what's your name?" "Kora." He smiled. "I like it.. I'm Dylan." Of course, Dylan O'Brien. "yeah, you seemed familiar. I'm a fan of maze runner." I smiled to show my dimples. He blushed slightly and chuckled.

"Well. Looking at you, you look like you could use some fun. Can I take you out sometime?" He asked sheepishly.

"You're very confident." I said, forgetting about Justin.

"Yeah, and you're very attractive." I blushed and he met his eyes with mine. "Well in that case, I'd love to go out with you sometime."

He checked his gold watch for the time and saw that it was 7:36. "Did you walk here?" He asked, noticing that this coffee shop was near houses, I nodded and his eyes lit up. "Do you think I could walk you home?" He stuttered a bit towards the end, I couldn't help but laugh and nod standing up. He opened the door and we began walking.

----------

We made small talk and he asked me why I was upset at the coffee shop.

"Well. I have a boyfriend named Justin who just.. I don't know, treats me terrible I guess. He stood me up, but I guess it worked out in my favor." I smiled and looked up at him. He has a sharp jawline and chestnut eyes. "Well I guess it did. But either way, you deserve better." I laughed short and nodded. "You can say that again." Dylan looked at me. "I wouldn't care if I had to." he kept a straight smile for a minute or so, then started laughing, and I joined along, blushing.

We arrived at my house and we stopped at the porch. "You've been in so many movies, you know how to make real life feel like one, huh." He smiled and looked down, then darting his eyes up to look at me. "If you say so." He spoke softly, making me smile mentally. "I'm glad I was able to walk you home, but uh, do you think I could get your number?" He asked and I blushed at the approach. "If I can get yours." I teased, putting my number in his phone and he did the same.

"Text me later." I smiled hugging him. Accepting the hug, he told me he would as soon as he got home. "Good luck with your terrible boyfriend.. You really should break up with him." He stuck out his bottom lip and I smiled once again. "I'll keep you updated." I said shutting the door and watching him walk away, smiling.

After shut the door, I leaned against it and finally came to the reality that Dylan O'brien just asked for for my number and wants to take me out- all thanks to me being stood up. So.. Thanks Justin. ;)
