You and Lawliet had made a plan to test our theories. Lawliet and I weren't completely sure about Kira being able to kill with just a name and face. So you both decided you would get a death row inmate who's execution day was set for two days from now.
You wanted to test if they were really in the Kanto region. We weren't going to bother with a script or anything, since it would sound better.
You had Lawliet show you to your room. It was three rooms down from his. Lawliet helped you get everything set up in your room. And right before you were about to tell him to leave, he walked over to you and hugged you.
"I missed you Y/N..."
"I missed you too Lawliet" you said, hugging him back.
"Now get out, I have to get changed, see you tomorrow Lawliet."
He chuckled, "yeah, I'll see you tomorrow Y/N"

you have insomnia, and you only got about an hour of sleep. But, as always, you were ready for work.
You got dressed in your normal clothes, some black skinny jeans and a plain F/C shirt. You decided you would get some more sweets, because you were running low.
You walked down to the elevator, and pressed the ground level button.
You stepped out of the elevator, and walked outside. You took a right, and walked for about a minute. You arrived at a local candy store. It seemed quite empty, considering it was a candy store and it was a saturday. Whatever.
You walked into the candy store, and picked out some bon bons, lollipops, and Zotz(they're delicious).
You went up to the register and paid for everything. You decided that you would just go straight back to the base.
You walked back to the base, and went up to Lawliet's room.
You knocked on the door, and a sleepy looking L opened the door.
"Hey Ryu, you ready to get to work?"
"Yeah, come on in."
He lead you over to his computer setup, and you went over the plan.
"Okay, so in an hour we will be broadcasting live to the Kanto region of japan. I don't think we will have to go further than that, but if we do we will just do the same for the other regions. We will be having prisoners on death row pretending to be me and you. This is how we are going to figure out where this "Kira" is. That is what we have for a plan" L said
"Alright, got it" you responded

You and L were finished getting setup, and the two prisoners were there. Their names were "Lind L Tailor, and Minaya M Wenta".
We started the broadcast.
Lind started "Hello, Kira."
"It is us, L, and M."
"We were just sending this to
that we know where you are and how you kill."
As they continued, Lind was cut short, and Minaya soon after.
Heart attacks.
The screen changed from them to a fancy L and M
You and L turned on your microphones, and made sure your voices would be slightly altered.
You and L started "Hello Kira"
"That man and woman that you just killed were actually prisoners on death row."
You continued "I can guarantee you, L and M are real"
L chimed in "We do exist"
L continued " we now know that you reside in the Kanto region, Since we only broadcasted that to the Kanto region."
"Now, Kira. TRY TO KILL US!" you yell together
"We'll wait..."
Five minutes passed, and you and L started laughing.
"can't do it, huh."
"Alright, Kira. We will be sure to find you soon."
The broadcast ended, and you and L decided to hang out for a little while.

A few hours had passed and L got a message, and it was important, so he told you about it.
"We think that Kira is a student at
To-Oh academy. So it looks like we're going to school, F/N."
