Chapter 21

L's p.o.v

So it seems to be that Light has taken a liking to F/N.

That's not okay.

I honestly think that F/N is too suspecting of light to actually fall for him, but there is still a 20% chance.

I had to live the last 6 years of my life without her, and I don't want to do that again.

Light, on the other hand, had no knowledge of her before this. He only knows that she is M, and doesn't know a thing about her past.

I was planning to tell her I love her after this case is completed, but I may have to change that plan. I have to tell her before she gets closer to light

Lights p.o.v

It seems that L has caught on to me. I like M, a lot. I feel like I should gain her trust, because not only is she my enemy, she is one of the most amazing girls I've ever met. She has also known L since she was a kid. She knows his name. She is probably the most valuable person to have on my side.

Your p.o.v

Light has started acting suspicious again. The second he picked up that notebook, he seemed different. Almost like he was a different person. L took the notebook back from him so he could keep track of it. It was dangerous.

You couldn't quite understand how Kira could kill someone with a notebook. It wasn't human.

This was now going from a strange case to something completely inhuman. I have to forget the majority of reasoning I have. I'm sure L has similar thoughts to me right now. Neither of us have dealt with shit like this before.

You were all back at the task force building. You and L were examining the Death Note. L had left the room to get some cookies for you and him. About a minute after he left, Light got your attention.

"Hey, M?"

You look over to him to see him walking over to you. Other than that, he remained silent. You were confused, he IS acting weird again, but this is different.

He leaned down and hugged you, not saying a word. You didn't know what to do. He started to lean forward...

When L walked back in the room.

He dropped the cookies and threw light off of you.

L's p.o.v

I was walking back to the room, holding a plate of cookies that F/N bought.

As soon as I made it to the door, I saw Light hugging F/N. Shortly after that, he started to lean in to kiss her. F/N's eyes were wide and confused.

I don't know what happened, but my emotions got the best of me.

I grabbed Light, pulling him off of M. He barley said anything.

"Ryuzaki"

I looked at him.

He punched me straight in the face. I stood still for a second before I shifted and kicked him in the face. The fight continued from there.

It went on until F/N yelled out.

"STOP!"

We paused, looking at her.

"You guys are being ridiculous! We need to be focusing on the case, not whatever this is."

She was right.

I slowly got up, returning to my seat next to her. Light continuing some research.

Now I knew exactly what was going on.

God dammit.

They're fighting over you. Honestly, you never even thought you would be the center of a love triangle. At least you noticed. You must've seemed so dense this whole time.

You're going to have to choose between them, but you aren't going to let this get in the way of this case.
