Ashton:

As I kept punching him I kept thinking of all the things he could have done to her and got angrier. Then I heard a gun shot fom behind me and felt a sting on my side. "You shouldn't be here boy" as I turn around following an older male voice I see Cassie's stepfather Mike. He? He was in on this? Sudenly another shot was fired and Mike fell onto the floor dead. And one of our guys Jared walks toward the body. "Sorry I'm late sr". I shake my head and notice Connor was already gone. "Let's go!" I hear screaming from one of the rooms and run towards it not caring about my wound. I open the door to find Cassie fighting a guy over a gun and shoot the guy in the head making him shoot her on the side and fall on the floor. I notice she is unconscious.

I try to walk towards her but fall on the floor and slowly close my eyes.

Cassie:

I wake up to a beep from machines. I try to open my eyes and fail as a light blinds me. When I finally achieve to open my eyes I try to stand up but feel pain in my chest. When I look around no one is here not even Ashton. I see the hospital help button and push it.

After a couple of seconds later the door opens and Marisa enters the room with Jake in her arms and Harry next to her. "Hey guys" I said in a low voice since I couldn't speak loud enough because of my dry throat. Marisa quickly put down Jake and ran towards me giving me a tight hug. When she pulled back i noticed she was trying to hold back tears but failed. When I looked to the side Harry was holding back his tears looking at me.

"Aren't you going to hug your big sister?" I asked and soon Harry was giving me a tight hug. "Don't you ever go out on your own again".

Suddenly the door burst open and I can hear screaming. "Sr you can't go in there!" says a strangers voice. When I look to the side i see Ashton fighting the doctors and nurses but they all fail to hold him back. "He can't come in for a bit?" I ask. The doctors gave up oviously knowing there was no way he was leaving without seeing me.

"Hey you okay?" He asks and I nod. "You?" He nods "Now that I know you're okay, I was so worried you wouldn't wake up" I look at him with a puzzled look. "What do you mean?" he sighs "you've been out for two weeks I was really worried" I look at him surprised that I had really been out of it for so long. "Oh" I'm left speechless.

"Listen um I don't know if I should tell you this but Mike and Connor are dead" I look at him for a moment before realizing what he had just said and a small tear runs down my cheek. "You okay?" I nod. "It's fine.

"Okay that's it for today" the doctor said as he escorted everyone out.

Later that week I was sent home and finaly went back to the normal routine. The only thing that change was the way Ashton was treating me it felt distant.

"Hey Ashton!" I screamed wanting his attention. "What?" he said turning his far so he would be staring at me. Those beautiful blue eyes making me want to melt. "Can we talk?" I say hopping to not making it akward. He nods for me to keep talking.

"I wanted to ask why you're being so distant". He sighs "I don't want you to get hurt more because of me". I shake my head "I get hurt more if you leave me". His eyes look away from me and I feel cold.

"You don't understand I love you and I wish I didn't have to do this, but for you to be happy you have to stay away from me" I sigh "don't push me away if you don't want to, I want to stay close to you"

We kept staring at each other when the door bell rang.

Harry walked out of his room and opened the door to reveal Steve. "Hey Cassie" he said waving towards me I waved back. "Me and Steve are going out ill see you guys later" I nod "be safe!" I screamed and made him blush but keep walking.

When I looked back to my side Ashton was up and walking towards the kitchen. "Want anything to eat?" he asked. I nod and he walks into the kitchen. I stand up and go get Jake. "Hey Jake what you doing baby" I said as I pulled him out of his crib and caried him to the living room. "Moma" I hear Jake say with makes me want to cry from the joy. "Moma!" He screams making Ashton come out of the kitchen. "Did he just talk?" I nod. He walks towards Jake and picks him like any proud father would.

Sudenly this picture of the perfect family I mean my kind of perfect family. Him, me, and Jake all together, but that couldn't happen that would put Jake in danger. I wouldn't care but it's not just me.

"Are you okay?" I am brought back from my day dream by Ashton who is staring at me confused. I nod smiling.

Sorry I took so long I know this chapter isn't really all that good but please put up with me for now. The next chapter will be good.
