I woke up to the sound of arguing. I blink my eyes open lazily and roll over. I glance at the time on my clock and see that it's only 8:10, causing me to groan. Who is awake at eight a.m, not to mention arguing?

I sit up and stare at the wall for a moment before getting up and dressing in a pair of navy skinny jeans, a red tank top and a white cardigan. I apply a minimal amount of make-up, only mascara and a clear gloss, before slipping on my red converse and tying my hair up into a high ponytail.

I leave my room and open Hazel's door, stepping inside and closing it behind me.

"Hazel, you up yet?" I ask. She calls me from the bathroom and unlocks the door so I can enter. Hazel sucks with hair and make-up so I help her with that, and we head into her room and sit down on her bed.

"So, apparently, we have to go shopping today." I cringe when she says that. I may dress decent, but I despise shopping. If I never have to go into another clothing store I will die happily. Hazel on the other hand, loves it. Shopping is her life.

"Well, I suppose we better get downstairs." I say and together we walk to the kitchen.

"Hello, sleeping beauty." I feel an arm wrap itself around my waist and I quickly grab it and twist it backwards, causing the boy to groan in pain.

"Could you let me go now? My arm feels like it's going to fall off." I hear Noah say before releasing him.

"Sorry." I apologize.

"It's alright. I just didn't realize how strong you were for such a tiny girl." He laughs.

"I took karate for a few years." I explain.

"Why?"

"Just so I can defend myself in case I have to."

"Ok..." He hands Hazel and I a bowl of cereal each. "Eat up!" I start into my cereal but Hazel just stares at me questioningly. I'll explain later I mouthed, and she nods. She begins to eat her cereal happily.

"So, girls, why exactly are you here?" I nearly spit out my cereal at the question but quickly regain my composure.

"Didn't Lilly tell you?" Hazel asks them.

"Nope. If you don't want to tell us it's alright." He replies.

"Um.. I think we'd prefer to have it a secret for now. Maybe we'll tell you another time." Hazel says apologetically.

"Sure thing. My mom said she'll be down soon so I guess just wait in the living room for her to come out?" We nod and sit down on the sofa in the living room. Hazel turns on the t.v and we watch an episode of being human before Lilly comes downstairs.

"Ready to go?" She asks us. We pile into her car and drive to the mall.

"I forgot to mention, but there's a formal party tomorrow and all of us are attending. If you want you can come with us, or you can stay home." She tells us before parking.

"I guess we'll come." I say before Hazel can reject her offer.

"Good. Also, the boys are having a party and want you two to go. So you'll also need an outfit for that." She smiles and hands each of us a card. We stare at her questioningly before she explains.

"Liam and I got you two debit cards for shopping only. Anything you need to buy- be it clothing or electronics- you use this. There's a food one at home. There's already $4000 on each of them. Sorry it's not a lot, but a few months before you came to stay with us Ben broke his arm climbing a tree, and we had to pay for that." She smiles.

"No! It's more than enough." I say.

"Nonsense. As soon as we can, I'll get more money on those cards." We step out of the car and head into the mall.

"School starts again in 1 week so we need to get clothing for that. But first let's deal with the formal party." She leads us into a fancy store and shows us aisles of dresses to try on and buy.

"Oh, Grace, how about you try this one on." She suggests. I glance at the dress she's holding and my eyes widen. It's all pink and frilly, and goes to about mid-thigh.

"Sorry, but pink frills and orange taffeta aren't my thing. Try a sheep, maybe it could replace it's hair." I say with a laugh, and Lilly smirks before replacing the dress on it's hanger and continues looking.

After a while, Hazel and I have a sufficient amount of dresses to try on and we head into the dressing room.

The first dress I try on is a strapless yellow knee-length dress.

I walk out of the room and a second later Hazel emerges in a blue feathery dress. We both shake our heads with a laugh and step back into the dressing rooms.

The next one I try on is red with lacy sleeves.

I walk out and meet with Hazel who is in a gorgeous green lacy dress. She grins and spins around in her dress.

"Oh, honey, you look beautiful. Is that the one you're going to get?" Lilly asks while holding another dress.

"Yes!"

"Okay, go take it off and wait for your sister. Grace, can you try this dress on?" She holds out the dress she had.

"Sure thing." I pull off the red dress and tug the blue and black dress over my body. I step out and mimic Hazel by spinning around and grinning.

"This is the one!" I exclaim.

"Excellent! Do you two have shoes you can wear with them?" We both nod.

"Ok, lets pay and go buy some more clothes!"
