Chapter 5

Jenna's POV

"Mom?! We're here!" I called out as we walked inside. "Here I'll take that." I said, grabbing my bag with my dress off of him. I sat in on the couch along with my bag I took to his house. "Mom?" I called out again.

"I'm upstairs! I'll be down in just a moment!" I smiled and looked at Ashton.

"You alright?"

"Me? Yeah...I'm fine." I smiled lightly and my mom came downstairs.

"Hi honey." She said, hugging me. "Oh! This must be Ashton. Jessica called. She informed me that you were taking Ashton with you. So, I just had to meet him. How are you?"

"I'm good ma'am. How are you?"

"Doing just fine thank you. He's a nice young man Jenna. Is this the boy you've been tutoring?" She asked and I nodded. "Ah..so you two go to school together."

"Yes mom." I said and she looked at me.

"I'm just making conversation honey. Ashton, would you care to stay for dinner?"

"I would, but I have band practice. Maybe next time." He shot me a smile and I blushed.

"Ah...that's too bad. Next time." He nodded and my mother smiled. "Alright. I'm off to start dinner. It was lovely meeting you dear."

"You as well." She smiled as she walked away. "You're mother is a nice woman." I nodded and he sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"I gotta go. The boys are already on their way to my house. You want to come?" He asked and I sighed.

"Let me ask my mom first." He nodded and I went to the kitchen. "Hey mom?"

"Yes?"

"Ashton wants to know if I could go watch his band practice." She looked at me and sighed.

"Fine. If you're staying the night call me to let me know." I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Okay. I'll let you know. Love you."

"Love you too." I walked back over to Ashton and smiled.

"Let's go." I said and he chuckled. We walked outside to his car and went back to his house. On the way there, he grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers. "We don't have to do this until we see Luke remember?"

"Oh...well. Yeah." He let go and continued to drive. I sighed and grabbed his hand, watching a smile form into his lips. We got to his house and the boys were there.

"Perfect timing." Michael said as we got out of his car.

"Yeah we went to Jenna's for a bit." Ashton said, wrapping his arm around my waist. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Are you three crashing here for the night?"

"Yeah." Calum said.

"Do you wanna stay tonight?" Ashton asked, looking at me.

"Uhm...sure. I don't have any clothes though."

"That's alright. I'll give you something of mine to sleep in." I smiled and we all went inside.

After practice, Ashton ordered a pizza and I decided to text my mom and let her know I was staying the night.

'Mom...I'm staying here for the night. I'll be home tomorrow.'

'Alright honey. Have fun!' I smiled and locked my phone.

"Who else besides me is making you all happy?" Ashton asked, sitting next to me. I laughed lightly and shook my head.

"My mom." I said, laughing. He chuckled and kissed my head. I could feel Luke's stare going straight through my soul.

"So, how about a little game of truth or dare?" Luke questioned and I felt my cheeks flush.

"I'm in. What about you love?" Ashton asked. The boys were all staring at me and I sighed.

"Sure. Why not?"
