Jenna's POV
---------------
I woke up in the morning and turned over, seeing Ashton in the chair at my desk. He looked uncomfortable. I got out of bed and shuffled over to him, admiring his beauty before rubbing his cheek gently with the pad of my thumb. His eyes fluttered open and he smiled instantly as our eyes made contact.

"Hey beautiful." He said, his voice groggy. "What time is it?"

"8:45. You looked very uncomfortable. You could've slept in my bed last night."

"I didn't want to wake you. You seemed so peaceful." I blushed slightly and he sat up more, rubbing his neck. "I fixed your door. It's as good as new."

"Thank you, Ashton. It really means a lot to me that you came here in the middle of the night to be there for me. Not a lot of people would do that for me." He smiled and I rubbed my arm. "My mom should be home soon. I'm really in the mood for pancakes. Would you like some?"

"I would love some." I laughed softly and grabbed his hand, pulling him downstairs with me. As we got downstairs, my mom walked into the house.

"Hi honey. Oh, hello Ashton. I didn't expect you to be here so early."

"He came over around 3 this morning. I needed someone to talk to and he came over." I told her.

"That was very sweet of you." She said, smiling at him. "Are you two hungry?"

"I was going to make pancakes."

"Nonsense. We can go out for breakfast. Jenna, honey go get changed and then we can go." I nodded and walked upstairs to change into some sweats and a tank top.

Ashton's POV
--------------

I smiled as Jenna walked upstairs.

"Ashton," her mother whispered. I looked at her and she smiled. "Thank you for being there for her. She doesn't have anyone besides me to really be here for her, so thank you."

"It wasn't a problem at all. I'll always be here to comfort her in times of need." She smiled and opened her arms. I hugged her and she rubbed my back just a tiny bit. It was rather comforting.

"To know that my little girl has you to look out for her...it makes me very happy. I haven't seen her smile in years, so it's nice. I don't want to be nosy, but are you two together?"

"No, but I want us to be." She smiled and nodded.

"I'm sure she really likes you. You're a nice young man. She won't say no, trust me." I chuckled and there was the sound of feet coming down stairs. I turned around and smiled at Jenna.

"I'm ready."

"It's chilly out. Don't you want a coat?" Jenna shook her head and walked outside. I followed her and her mom followed me, shutting the door behind her. In the car, I held Jenna's hand. She blushed as I interlocked our fingers.

As we walked from the car to the entrance of the diner, Jenna was shaking.

"You alright?" I questioned her.

"Yeah, just a bit cold."

"I told you so." Her mother chimed in, opening the door to the diner. I took my jacket off and gave it to her.

"Here wear mine." She shook her head and I sighed, putting it on her myself. I did it gently, though. I didn't want to hurt her. She blushed and I chuckled, interlocking our fingers again before walking inside.

"How many?"

"3." The hostess nodded and grabbed three menus.

"Right this way." We followed her to our table and sat down, ordering our drinks and food.

"So, Jessica's wedding is today. Isn't that exciting?" It was obvious Jenna's mom just wanted to make small talk.

"Yeah, I guess. I'm not a big wedding person." Jenna replied, shrugging her shoulders a bit. "What about you Ashton?"

"Me?"

"Yeah, are you a wedding person?" Jenna asked and I smiled.

"You could say that. I mean I enjoy going to them. Especially if I got a beautiful girl such as yourself by my side." That along with almost everything I say made her blush. She looked away and I smiled at her shyness.

Our food eventually came and it was delicious. We talked throughout the whole meal and I even made Jenna and her mom laugh. We got back to her house and Jenna sighed.

"I guess I should go get ready."

"So should I." I said and she smiled. "Considering my suit is at my house, I'll have to change there and come back." I opened my arms and Jenna hugged me. "I'll see you soon."

"Okay," she whispered. "Oh. Here's your jacket." She started to slip her arm out of it and I stopped her.

"You can keep it." I winked at her and left to go back to my house. I ran upstairs to my room and grabbed my suit from my closet. I laid it out on my bed before going down the hall to take a shower.

I couldn't get Jenna off of my mind. She's so beautiful and smart. She makes my heart beat a thousand times per minute. I always catch myself smiling when I think of her.

She's got me falling head over heels in love with her and I'm not so sure if that's such a bad thing.

As I looked at myself in the mirror, I straightened up my tie and smiled. I fixed my hair a bit and grabbed my keys before heading back over to Jenna's. I stopped at the store on my way and grabbed her a bouquet of roses. The cashier said I was the most thoughtful man on earth. When I got to her house, I walked up to the front door and knocked loudly.

"Awe Ashton. You look so handsome." Jenna's mother said as she looked at me.

"Thank you. You look very nice as well." She smiled before turning around.

"Jenna! Ashton's back!" I smiled and walked inside, holding the roses in my hands. "She's going to love those." Her mom whispered before walking away. I heard the sound of heels walking down the stairs and I began to get nervous.

"Hi Ashton." She whispered and I gasped before a smile formed into my lips.

"You look even more beautiful than you did the first time you tried it on." She blushed and I handed her the roses. "These are for you."

"Thank you. Oh my are they lovely." She smelled them and smiled. "Thank you so much."

"You're welcome."

"And might I add you look absolutely stunning in that suit." She said before turning around and walking towards the kitchen. I followed her and watched her fill a vase up with water, the roses going in afterwards.

"Alright you two. Are you ready to go?" We nodded and Jenna smiled at me.

"Are we going with my mom or do you want to go in your car?"

"You two go alone." Her mother added. "I think you deserve some alone time. Jenna you know where we're going. You can direct him there. I'll see you two soon." And with that, she left. I chuckled and Jenna smiled at me again.

"I guess it's just us. Shall we go?"

"We shall." I said, taking a hold of her hand, our fingers interlocking once again. We headed out to my car and left for the wedding.
