Ashton's POV
----------------

The ceremony was beautiful. Jenna's cousin looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress. That whole time I mainly looked at Jenna. She kept turning around and smiling at me. I would wink at her occasionally, making her turn around because she would blush. After the wedding, I walked over to Jenna and she smiled.

"Hey."

"Hi." I whispered and she grabbed my hand as we began to walk towards my car to go to the reception. "You look really beautiful Jenna."

"You already said that about 10 times."

"I know," I said, laughing. "I just wanted to make sure you knew." She giggled and I parked outside of the building where they were holding the reception.

"There's my mom." Jenna said and we walked over to her. "Is there specific seating?"

"I think so. We can check when we go in." Her mom said and Jenna nodded.

We were seated at a table with Jenna, her mom, Jenna's aunt and uncle, her cousin, her grandparents on her moms side, and me. The wedding party came in and after dinner and cake, the newlyweds had their first dance.

"Awe." Jenna said, smiling at them. "This is my favorite part of weddings. Seeing them have their first dance." Jenna said, smiling at me and then at the happy couple. The dance floor was soon open to everyone and I stood up.

"You want to dance?"

"I would love to dance." I took her hand and led her to the dance floor. They were playing a slow song and I placed my hands gently on her waist. She wrapped hers around my neck and laid her head softly on my chest. "You smell nice." She whispered and I chuckled, softly.

"Thank you, Jenna." She looked at me and I smiled, earning a smile in return. "I'm glad you invited me to come here."

"I'm glad you came." I grabbed her hand and spun her around, dipping her afterwards. I pulled her back up and she giggled. "You've got moves Irwin."

"I try." I shrugged my shoulders, nonchalantly and chuckled. The song ended and she smiled.

"Thank you for the dance."

"Jenna!" We looked over and Jessica was walking over. She gasped and smiled at me. "This must be Ashton, right?" I nodded and she hugged me. "It's so nice to meet you! Oh, Jenna. He's even more handsome then you said." I looked at Jenna and she was blushing. "So, you two. Are you a thing or what?" Jenna and I looked at each other and she blushed.

"No." I whispered and Jessica sighed.

"And why not? What's wrong with my cousin?"

"N-nothing! I just...I never asked her yet."

"We're you going to?" Jenna asked and I blushed, nodding.

"I ruined it, didn't I? Oh my I'm so sorry. I'll go and give you two some space." Jessica walked away and I looked at Jenna. I scratched the back of my neck and she blushed, looking down at her feet.

"Jenna?"

"Yes?" She asked, still looking at her feet.

"Can we go outside and talk for a bit?" She nodded and we awkwardly walked outside. There was a cute tree outside with a bench under it. We sat down on it and I turned slightly so I was facing her. "I didn't quite plan on doing this yet, but I guess it's a nice time."

"What's that?" She asked and I smiled, taking her hands in mine, my thumbs running over her knuckles.

"Jenna, will you please make me the most happiest man alive and become my girlfriend?"

"Oh, Ashton. I would be honored." I chuckled and hugged her. I kissed her cheek softly and held her hand, standing up.

"I guess we should go back inside." She nodded and stood up. We walked inside and sat down at our table. Her mom was talking to Jessica and they smiled at us.

"Guess who stepped up and found themselves his first girlfriend?" I questioned and Jenna blushed.

"I'm so happy for you two. You make such a cute couple." Her mom said and Jenna smiled.

"I can't believe you've never had a girlfriend before." Jenna whispered and I looked at her.

"You're the first." She blushed and I gave her hand a gentle squeeze.

After a while, they announced that they were going to play the last slow song of the night. Jenna and I made our way to the dance floor and began to dance to the beat of can you feel the love tonight.

"I had such a great time tonight, Jenna."

"As did I." She whispered and I smiled down at her. I tucked some of her hair behind her one ear and brushed my thumb against her cheek. She giggled and my smile grew. I leaned my head down and connected our lips. We both smiled into the kiss and we eventually broke it for air. I rested my forehead against hers and she looked up at me through her eyelashes.

"You are so beautiful. I am the luckiest guy in the world."

"I'm not that beautiful."

"Are you kidding? You're perfect in my eyes." She blushed and looked away. I lifted her chin up with my finger and kissed her once again. "So perfect."

We left soon after that and I drove her home. I walked her up to her front door and she smiled.

"Thank you again for coming tonight."

"Thank you again for inviting me." I kissed her softly and she smiled into it. "Maybe next weekend I can take you out on our first official date."

"I would love that." I chuckled and hugged her, kissing the top of her head.

"I'll talk to you soon beautiful."

"Okay." She whispered and she slowly walked inside. I had a smile plastered to my face as I walked over to my car, getting in and driving to my house.

I am the happiest and luckiest guy on earth.
