Oh my god, I haven't been on here in ages. But I'm back and ready to write again. Enjoy my loves!
Ashton's POV
It's Friday and Calum's throwing a party tonight and I really want Jenna to go with me, but after what happened with Luke I don't think she'll want to go. I've been debating on asking her ever since we left school. I also don't want to go alone because I know I'll end up beating the shit out of Luke when I see him.
"Baby?" I questioned as we laid in my bed together.
"Yes?" Her beautiful eyes locked with mine and I smiled.
"How would you feel about going out tonight?"
"Where?"
"To...a party? At....calum's." I hesitated in between my words so much and she sighed.
"I don't know Ashton. I know Luke will be there and I'm not sure if I'm really comfortable being around him. He really hurt me, babe."
"Jenna...listen. I know he hurt you, but you need to trust me when I say that he will never lay another finger on you. Do you hear me baby girl? He will never and I mean never touch you again. I'll kill him if he does." She kissed me, and I could feel all the tension leaving my body.
"You're the best, Ashton. What did I ever do to deserve you?"
"So is that a yes about the party?"
"Only if you drive me to my house to find something to wear."
"Deal." She shook her head and sat up.
"Well, we better go now then. You know how long it takes me to get ready." I laughed, and got up, grabbing my keys and my girl before heading out the door.
Jenna's POV
I don't know why I agreed to go with him. Maybe it was just the fact that I'd like to see him beat the shit out of Luke. Then again, I don't want to see that. Luke is strong, and I couldn't bear seeing Ashton get hurt. I want to believe that Ashton would win, but come on. Luke is way stronger and I couldn't even see Ashton hitting him. He could never hurt a fly. Could he?
"What are you thinking about?" Ashton asked on the way to my house. I shook my head.
"Nothing." He rolled his eyes and put his attention back on the road.
"You can tell me, you know. I won't judge you."
"I know." I whispered, looking down at my lap. "I'm just scared."
"Of what baby?"
"Luke."
"I already told you-."
"I know. It's just, if you try fighting him...you're going to lose. I'm not saying that because I don't think you're strong or man enough, but because Luke is stronger. He's...very strong. I can usually defend myself, but that night....I couldn't. He was so strong." I could feel the tears starting to build in my eyes and Ashton pulled over on the side of the road. I looked at him and he wiped my tears away, kissing me.
"Baby girl, please don't cry. I know you're hurting and I wish I could've been there to stop him. He's an asshole for what he did to you. Maybe we should just stay back tonight. We don't have to go."
"No, Ashton. We can go. I'll be alright."
"I don't want to force you to do anything you aren't comfortable with. If you want, I can let Calum know what's going on. He'll make sure Luke comes no where near you, and so will I." I kissed him and he smiled into it. "You're my baby and nobody will ever hurt you again. You have my word." I nodded and he kissed me again before driving the rest of the way to my house.
When we got there, my mom's car was gone. She must be working late tonight. Ashton turned off his car and I dug through my bag for my house key, but it wasn't there.
"I must've forgotten my house key. Let's hope my mom left the spare where it should be." Ashton and I got out and as I walked closer to the door I could tell it was open. "That's weird. The front door is open, but my mom's car isn't here. Maybe she didn't shut it all the way."
"Baby girl, wait." I looked at him and he was looking down the street. "I think that's Luke's car."
"Are you saying he's in my house?" Ashton nodded and I turned towards my house, walking towards the front door. Ashton ran up behind me and grabbed my arm, gently pulling me away. "Ashton, I need to see if he's in there. I need a reason to call the police."
"I don't want you going in there and getting hurt again. I'll go look and I'll be back."
"But what if he's waiting outside and takes me? Can't we go in together?" Ashton sighed and smiled at me, kissing my forehead.
"Alright. Let's go in." We walked through the front door together and there was a loud crash upstairs. Ashton looked at me and I could see the worry in his eyes. "Stay here, Baby girl. I'm going to check it out."
"No. I'm going with you."
"No, Jenna." There were footsteps coming down the stairs and Ashton stepped in front of me, in attempt of shielding me from what was to come. I peeked around his arm and saw Luke. "What are you doing here, Luke. You shouldn't be here."
"W-why n-not?" Oh great. He's drunk again. "You get to come here all the time, and Jenna doesn't stop you. What's so wrong with me? Huh?"
"I think you should go." I said and Luke laughed.
"Or what? You'll call the police? Go ahead, I don't care. I'd rather rot in jail than be stuck seeing you all the time. You worthless whore." I could see Ashton tense up and I grabbed his arm. He was not fighting him if he was drunk. I grabbed my phone and dialed 911, but before I could even press call, my phone was knocked out of my hands. I looked up and Luke was pointing a gun at Ashton's head. "Call, and your boyfriend dies."
DAMN. Well, sorry it's been forever guys! I honestly didn't even know what I was writing and then the ending just kind of happened. I'll update again soon.
