"I hate you! Get off of me!!"

Joseph huffed and crawled outside, zipping up his sweater and stuffing his hands in his pants pocket. The untouched snow crunching beneath his boots, as he walked the sound of it breaking the chilling silence. Halting after walking a few feet ones his limbs became too cold for him to continue to walk comfortably. He took a breath and stared up at the stars.

His sister and niece would love this. Especially his niece.

He stared at the smoke coming from his mouth as he blew it up into the sky. Trying to figure out why his life had to come to this, and if this idea of his was a mistake.

The night before:
"How about a honeymoon?" A cocky smirk appeared across Joseph's face he watched Giavanna go numb and speechless when both of their fathers agreed. She stood there long after they and everyone else were gone,  thankfully Leo, Niko, Micah, Julianna and Gianna stayed behind to help Joseph clear everyone out then clean everything out.

Finally when Joseph returned to their room he found Giavanna still stuck there thinking. "No way outta this one love. I think you should just start packing." His teasing tone filled the room but she heard nothing.

He left her alone but as time went on he began to get a little concerned. He glanced over at her to find her sitting with her back against the wall and her head between her knees. "Okay! That is enough." He marched over and flung her over his shoulder, carful not to hurt her.

In a flash she snapped out of her trance, slamming on his back and trying to kick or knee him. Joseph did not flinch or even acknowledge any of it. Tossing her on the bed he then tossed her a duffle bag. It made her jump at first until Giavanna realized what it was.

Next thing I knew I was being buried in my own clothes as they flew at me. Through the gaps of airborne fabric I saw Jo tossing them at me, like a dog trying to dig a hole. "OKAY!OKAY! I will pack, just stop!"

I huffed and looked at all the clothes now around me. "Useless really for where we were going. You could have at least thrown me something I could actually pack."

'Oh come on this has to be a little exciting!' "Since when is Alaska exciting?" 'Well I mean Sara Palin lives in Alaska, and she was pretty entertaining....' "Just shut up, just shut up Jo!" I got up and shifted through the closest grabbing warmer clothes to pack for myself.

"Of all the places you could have said, why Alaska?" I stood next to him as we both folded our clothes and put them in our bags. He was quiet for a moment seemingly thinking. 'Eleven years ago my niece told me it was nice.'

"ELEVEN!!! What that actual hell Jo that means she was five!!" I growled out at him as he took our now packed bags and ran to the door. "Has she even been there or has anyone you know to confirm this to you?!"

'Nope...' And out the door he ran...

I am going to kill him. I am going to kill him. I am going to kill him... Just breathe Gia. Breathe. I closed my eyes and steadied my breath I really did not like winging things or going to unfamiliar places.

Slowly I opened my eyes and Jo's stupid smirk is the first thing I see.
"I hate you."

"Awe yes I do love you too!" Joseph's snarky reply did nothing but anger Giavanna even farther. She spent the whole rest of the night telling Joseph "I hate you!" If she woke up in the middle of the night and found him up she would whisper it to him.
