**Mira's POV**
What I believed to be a perfect person in our cracked society, is no longer a goody-to shoes. She has shocked me. I thought that Hope was perfect and would never do such a thing, but as always, I was wrong. I have even questioned my own beliefs and existence. She has helped an escapee from the heist for 4 years, and then decided to not help him anymore. I couldn't believe when she did it. I even cried a little.
She has been miserable since Sebastian left.
Not all has been lost though. For the last few weeks, I have been helping Sebastian. I have been helping him escape from the heist. He has been getting food through our mailbox, Hope never checks it, and he has been living in luxury. I am pleased that I have been helping. But he talks about leaving. Going beyond the great bridges. Going outside. Leaving.
I do not listen though. He has been planning it for 6 years, and I doubt that he will do it. I don't really want him to go. We have been spending so much time together, and he appreciates me helping him out. He got past his birthday, so he has been visiting less and less. I want to see him more, though. I meet him in the woods every Zerbanday for a chat and to catch up." Hope, I'm starving. When is lunch?" I ask. She replies with " come in now, it's ready." Yeah. I'm sooooo hungry I could eat a horse.
Lunch is good. Not great but I eat it anyway. I chat with Hope. She is worried about Sebastian. She thinks that he has been heisted, even though I know that he hasn't been. But I can't tell her, she'll kill me. I don't know what I'm doing with Seb, really. Like I'm helping him but I don't know what I'm helping him for. Maybe I'm helping him for the wrong reasons.
After lunch, I pack my stuff. I'm going to visit him today. It's the last day of the weekend. This week has been tire-some. Excruciatingly boring. Nothing to report on. That's why I'm excited for today. I think I like Sebastian's company. He is so comforting. So passionate, so peaceful. He balances me out so perfectly.I get to our meeting spot in ethe woods and wait for about 12 minuets, until I hear crunching. I turn around and see a figure. Sebastian stands in front of me. " Hi, Sebastian, it's nice to see you!" I say. He smiles and hugs me. We sit at the stump of an old tree and talk about our week. Our future. Our plans. I let his words fade into the background as I stare at the beauty that surrounds me. The tall oaks. The serenity. But then Sebastian says something out of the blue.
" I'm going next week. Over the bridges, and I want you to come with me." I stare at him with wide eyes." Say that again, Seb?"
