**Mira's POV**

I wake up and my head is pulsing. And not in a good way. My eye still feels terrible and I think my nose is broken. Those stupid bullies messed me up. I have to go, I'm meeting with Sebastian to cross the Brigdes today. I've had enough. If Hope really cares about me, she'll come find me. She'll hunt for the clues. The clues that I will give.

I'll have to leave pretty soon, otherwise Hope will already be up. I pack my bag and head out. I close the front door behind me so softly

The winter breeze hits me harsh and I feel freezing. I run into the woods and grab my winter flask out of my bag. I start sipping the liquid inside of it. It warms the inside of me and I am ready to begin my long journey to the outer bridges. The walk is long and harsh and makes me tread through many adventures. Once I get my feet onto the road that leads straight to the bridges. I hesitate to step, but feel pride when I do. I walk a little further and then stop and this weird looking, twisty turny tree, Sebastian said that we would meet here.

I slump myself next to the tree and lean against it. I spin my backpack to the front of me and unzip the side it. Out spills my sandwich. I open the plastic bag and stuff it into my face. Then, I see Seb in the background. " Sebastian, Seb, whatever, over here!" I call. He sees me and waves an comes over to me. He shares my other half of the sandwich. After we have finished, we move forward without any problems. No worries, and no pain. We are fine. We are together.

As night falls, we find ourselves in a situation. We see headlights, shinning, and coming for us. "Seb, look, over there." I say. "Go, go go. We need to get into the forests it is coming closer. They will find us." Seb says and I run

Into the woods we go, dodging the trees and webs that block us reform moving forwards. We suddenly hear nothing at all. I start to whisper to Seb, "I think hiwe lost him. We should heads to sleep." Then suddenly we hear something rev and we both jump and say in sync, " RUN!!!!!!" We swing through the forest again, and we were both out of breath. Then, before I know what is young on, I fall, down the cliff, rolling on my neck.

Once I am finished rolling, I look where I am. My vision is a little blurry but I can see Seb, and he just finished rolling too, although he looked like he meant to roll. I was just a rolling mess. I move my neck around and it cricks and nearly snaps. 'Ouch' I say. My back is unmovable. Seb helps me up and I finally get a loom on where we are.

And when I do see where we are, I am shocked. They are big, massive, I can't even describe the size of them. I gaped at the looming thing. They were beautiful. An amazing piece of architecture. I loved them. I though that they should be something that people go and see. To marvel at them, to learn to love them. But of course, they are just the boundary, and no one wants to see them anymore. No one wants to go to the boundaries. No one likes to be at the Bridges.

Seb and I stand there for who knows how long until we are fully aware that we are actually doing this. That we are leaving, going outside of the boundaries. I take his hand and say, "We can do this. Together!" He chuckles amd answers with, "Together! 3,2,1, go" and we run towards the bridges. We reach them and I am able to put my hand on the bridge. Lets nip through that gap" I say, pointing at a hole in the ground.
I slide through the thick grass first, letting my body pass from side to side. I finally stand up and breathe deeply. I did it. Now Seb needs to do it too.

I look behind me and the sunlight rests on Sebs shoulders. It is dawn. He breathes in and then lets go of my grip. He slides his way through the hole and emerges on the other side with me. We both look at each other, then the other side and turn away. We will never forget the place where we grew up.
When we have got a couple of meters away, I feel something crunch in my pocket, the note. I run back to the bridge and stick the note on it. The note for Hope. Hopefully she willing it and find me. Then we can both live in a place where nothing is ruled. We are free. We are good.

The sun beats down on us. It is midday, and it is extremely hot out here. Seb and I have gone through most of our water, but we packed a lot, in case. We have been walking for about 3-4 hours now. "Seb, can we stop over there, it is a good rocky shelter. I need to eat!" I ask.
"Yeah, I'm starving too. It looks good over there. C'mon. Let's go!" Seb replies, and we start to walk over to the shelter.
