Chapter 4

I had just enough time to take a shower and walk into my bedroom with nothing but a towel on when I hear a very high pitched scream.

"ARE YOU READY FOR TONIGHT?"

I nearly jump out of my own skin and scramble away until I realize who it is.

I throw my hands up and shout "Geeze Anna! A little warning next time you decide to bust my eardrums out."

Anna throws me a sheepish smile and says "Sorry". She gingerly climbs her way off of my bed to start going through my closet. I sit on the bed and wait for her decision. Knowing Anna as long as I have, I know she won't let me wear anything I pick out.

"So Anna, any clues you wanna give me on where we are going tonight?" I ask innocently.

Anna stops going through my clothes and gives me a narrowed eye appraisal. "No". Is her one word reply.

I huff. "Come on Anna! This kinda thing was fun in High School, but now I really need to know what to be prepared for!".

She ignores me and just keeps going through my clothes and muttering to herself. I think I catch the phrase "hopeless" once.

Ok. So I'm not the most stylish dresser, but I don't wear anything that is overly baggy or out of date either. My perfect outfit is a pair of good fitting jeans and a Cute T-shirt...To go along with my Rainbows of course!

Anna finally exits my closet.

"This is what you're wearing tonight." She exclaims proudly.

When I look up, the dress that she is holding is gray with silver designs across the front, It's strapless and it reaches about mid thigh.

"Anna.....That's the dress you made me where when we went to the party for the English Nobleman on his yacht.

Which may I just add we had to sneak on to the boat because we weren't invited. And almost had to swim back to shore when his security realized we had no invitation. Anna ended up flirting our way out of it by hitting on a Security Guard.

"Oh, I remember. This dress is perfect for where were going tonight!" She replied excitedly.

I was without a doubt a little leery about this whole situation. But I begrudgingly got up, took the dress from her and went into the bathroom to change.

Anna had also picked out my underthings to wear with the dress which she passed me as I went into the bathroom.

I put on the dress and looked in the mirror. Now admittedly the dress did look good on me and kind of pushed up my minimum boobs to create the illusion of decent cleavage.

I opened the door and stepped out the bathroom,

"Oh, Lexa you look great! Here" Anna passed my some 4in silver heels to match the dress.

It was then Anna's turn to get ready. As she entered the bathroom. I sat at my vanity and started combing through my hair. I put some Mouse in and scrunched it a little to give it a kinda relaxed wavy style. By the time I finished with my hair Anna appeared out of the bathroom in a red dress. It had a velvety quality to it and reached about her mid thigh, It had straps that led around the back of her neck.

"Wow Anna! You look great!"

"Thanks! I know!" Was her oh so modest reply.

By the time Anna and I were ready, Anna had her short blond locks straightened with a jeweled comb positioned on one side of her head and both of our makeup was smokey eye with nude lips.

We teetered down the stairs to leave. It was about 8pm. We went to Anna's car which was a beautiful Silver Audi A3 Convertible. We listened to the radio and chatted as we drove towards Myrtle Beach. I told Anna about me becoming the New COO in September. I did not however mention Aiden Woods because Anna knows me to well and would know that I am slightly attracted to him.

We jammed the radio and sang to the top of our lungs during the trip and by the time we reached out destination we were both giddy with our antics.

Anna pulled the car to a stop in front of this huge club called 'Nightwalkers". I looked very high profile and just screamed money!

I looked to Anna with a curious gaze and asked "How are we gonna get in at a place like this?"

Anna smirked at me and gave me the biggest smile and said "Patience Grasshopper".

I rolled my eyes and exited the car as a valet appeared and Anna handed him her keys.

As we began to walk toward the entrance of the club I paused when a wave of foreboding hit me. It was a feeling like something was coming. Anna paused ahead of me and turned around and gave me a funny look.

She grabbed my arm and started pulling my towards the entrance and said " Let's Go Lexa! This is gonna be the experience of your life!".

I smiled at her as we made our way. There was a huge line of people waiting to get in. All the men were dressed immaculately in suits and button up shirts and the women looked amazing in their designer dresses and heels.

I began to doubt we could get in. Anna pulled me through the line, walked straight up this really HUGE bald guy with tattoos covering his arms and neck and whispered something in his ear. He smiled at her and opened the red velvet rope. I looked at Anna astonished and she just smiled at me and pulled me through the doors.

Now if I had the gift of seeing the future I would have tucked tail and run out of there as fast as I could, but since I don't I blindly went forward and at the end of the night I discovered Anna was right when she said it was gonna be the experience of my life!
