Sabrina's POV

(5 months later)

It's been 5 months in the hospital, and I finally get to go home tomorrow. The doctor decided to make sure I get 30% of my blood back instead of 20%, to make sure that I'm not as weak. I got my blood back faster than they thought.

Jacob has been teaching me everything that he is learning in school, and is going for walks with me everyday for 20 minutes. Apparently walking everyday helps clear your mind, and I must admit, it's working.

To be honest, I'm kind of scared to go home. My "home" is Jacob's house. Since my dad is dead, I have no guardian, which means I either have to get put up for adoption, or someone takes me. Jacobs parents offered to take me in, and I'm forever grateful for that.

Jacob's POV

I'm super excited for Sabrina to live with my family! Unfortunately, she had to sleep in a different bedroom, but whatever. At least we'll be in the same house.

For the last 5 months, my parents and I have been planning out her bedroom. I know so much about her, so I know what to put. The only things she had from her old room is her bed, bedding, her make up kit, and her clothes. I really hope she likes it.

(Skip to the day she comes)

We are driving to the hospital to pick up Sabrina! I'm so excited, you don't even have a clue. My baby girl is finally better, and she's happier and has more confidence in herself.

"Jacob, calm down," my mom tells me while I am practically jumping up and down in my seat, a smile plastered on my face.

"Sorry, I'm just really excited," I tell her.

"Really? I couldn't tell," my mom says sarcastically. I laugh.

"Remember Jacob, she's not going to be use to this, so give her some space for when she comes. Okay?" My dad says. I nod.
"I know, dad."

After what seems like a billion years, we finally get to the hospital. Sabrina is at the front doors with a nurse next to her. She doesn't see our car, so I get out and wave to her. She walks over timidly with the nurse walking next to her carrying her bags.

"Hey, Jacob," she says, a slight smile on her face.

"Hey," I say back. "I can take these for you," I say as I take the bags from the nurse. She thanks me and goes back inside.

"Thank you Mr and Mrs. Sartorius for letting me stay with you guys," she says to my parents as we go inside the car. I set her bag in the back seat.

"It's our pleasure," my mom says. She smiles and goes into the car and sits right next to me. I intertwine our hands together and she smiles at me. She leans her head against my shoulder and sighs while I look out the window.

This is going to be an interesting experience.
