Sabrina's POV
Isaiah.
"Isaiah, please don't-" I say before he cuts me off kissing me. I keep trying to push him off, but he holds me in tight to him. He finally pulls away and I gasp for air.
"You know babe, I missed you," he says with a smirk.
"I'm with Jacob now. Leave me alone," I say sternly, still pushing on his chest to get out of his grip.
"Oh, you mean the Jacob standing right there?" He says innocently, looking to his right. I look too. There is Jacob, his glistening eyes illuminated by the pale moonlight.
"Jacob, please. You heard what I just said," I say.
"I know, but that kiss lasted for at least 30 seconds, and you didn't pull away," he says.
"I-"
"Save it. Go have fun with your little boyfriend," he says as he starts to walk away. I panic for a few seconds trying to think of what to say before I remember something.
"No, please don't! Remember the moment! Please just remember!" I say with tears in my eyes. He stops in his tracks.
Jacob's POV
I stop.
*Flashback*
"Okay, Sabrina. Can you promise me this? Don't ever hurt yourself, no matter how hard it gets. No matter how badly someone hurts you. If I hurt you in any way, do not do a thing to yourself. Even if I am mad at you, I will still be in love with you, no matter how hard I try not to. If we ever get into a fight, remind me of this very moment, alright?" I say. She nods her head.
*End of flashback*
"Sabrina, I still love you, but you didn't pull away," I say.
"But-"
"Babe, just let me take care of you," Isaiah interrupts. Sabrina stands there looking at him for a moment. She starts to lean in. So does he. I roll my eyes and start to walk away, glancing back one last time. I see that just before their mouths are a hair away, she knees him in the stomach. He falls onto the ground and runs over to me.
"Jacob, just let me explain," she begs me. I sigh.
"Fine."
"I was walking along the shoreline and then he grabbed me and he kissed me. I tried to pull away as hard as I could, but he held me tight in. Jacob, please believe me," she says with tears streaming down her face.
"You're strong, so I bet you could have pulled away," I say.
"But I tried a- and I couldn't" she says, her voice breaking down in mid sentence.
"I'm sorry," I whisper, walking away.
"But the moment, don't you remember it? Didn't it mean something to you at all?" She asks. I shake my head, still not looking back.
"It did. I just told to remind me of it. I didn't say say that it would change my mind," I say.
"But Jacob, you heard what I said. You know that I'm telling the truth," she says. I don't reply. Instead, I walk away. Little did she know, every ounce in my body was hurting and tears were falling down my face as well.
Sabrina's POV
"Why couldn't you just let me be happy?" I ask Isaiah. He just smirks. I hold the urge to smack it off his face. I look over to where Jacob is walking away. I see his figure far in the distance.
"Sabrina?" Isaiah asks. I mentally roll my eyes.
"What?" I ask harshly, looking over at him. He suddenly slaps me hard across the face numerous times, the impact sending me to the ground. He starts starts to punch and kick too.
He yanks my arms behind my back and pushes my stomach to the ground with his foot. I look up and see Kasey and Mark standing silently next to each other."Help," I whimper.
"I'm getting Jacob," Kasey says.
"No, he won't care. He-" I was cut off by Isaish saying, "Shut up!"
I quiet down. Kasey and Mark run off. I look Jacob's figure is still in sight. They must be chasing after him. But it won't matter. He doesn't care. I mean nothing to him.
Isaiah picks me up and pushes me into a car; literally. The car starts to move as I drift into a light sleep.
Marks POV
I wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of people's voices. I notice Kasey is awake and ask her quietly what the sound is. She holds onto my hand tightly and looks up ahead. I do too and see Sabrina and a random guy standing on the beach shoreline."Sabrina?" I hear.
"What?" She says harshly. All of a sudden this dude starts beating her! Kasey and I stand up. Sabrina's hands are yanked behind her back and pushed to the ground. She see's us.
No hi, just a weakly said, "Help.""I'm getting Jacob," Kasey says quickly.
"No, he won't care. He-" she's cut off by the guy.
"Shut up!" He yells at her. I look to the left and I see a small figure. That must be Jacob. I tap Kasey on the shoulder so she'll look and we start running.
"Jacob!" We both yell. I know he hears us. We finally reach him.
"Jacob," Kasey sighs as she slows down from running.
"Sabrina, I said it's over," he says.
"It's Kasey. Jacob, we need to go back quickly!" Kasey says.
"I don't care what you say, I'm not getting back together with her," he says.
"Dude, that's not it. Some guy started beating the crap out of her!" I say. He stops dead in his tracks.
"Wait, what kind of beatings?" He asks hesitantly.
"Lots of slapping, punching and kicking, bending body parts farther back then there suppose to," I tell him quickly, still trying to catch my breath from running.
"Guys, this is bad. It's Isaiah. He's got her. I was so stupid. We need to get back to her ASAP!" He exclaims. We all run back.
Jacob's POV
We run back. Nobody's here. I go to where Isaiah and Sabrina were. I look on the ground. I pick up one of her red converse shoes that is lying on the ground.
I start to cry. Silently. Silently so nobody can realize the damage I have done. The damage I did to her. That's going to happen to her. The girl I may never see again. The girl that I love. Now gone. This is worse then when she was taken by Gabi. Isaiah is capable of more then you think.
She could be dead.
In my mind I imagine her lifeless body lying on a cement floor, blooding rushing out of her. Isaiah standing beside her, holding a bloody knife grinning.
She might be gone forever. Forever is a long time. Such a long time. That word replays in my memory over and over as I hold the shoe close to me.
Forever.
This was a really sad chapter for me to write.
Sadly, this book will be coming to an end soon, but I'll be making a sequel to it!
