I watched the water stream out of the faucet, and I waited for it to run out.
Does he really just want to look cool? Or does he really hate me?
Finally, the water ran out.
I left the hall, and standing right there was Yoongi.
"Hi." I said weakly.
He didn't respond.
I moved to go past him, but he stopped me. "We don't need a girl here. I suggest you go find your own friends and leave us." He said flatly.
"You aren't needed here."
Namjoon's POV
Nicole finally emerged, and she said she had to leave. "Sorry, but you know... Stuff." She said. She gave me a quick smile, and left the arcade.
Jungkook watched her leave. "That was quick." He said, raising an eyebrow.
"So, who wants to play a game?"The next day at school, Nicole sat a aseat away form me. She kept her head down and only looked up for the screen or whiteboard.
Lunch, she sat with a group of people she talked with sometimes.
At the end of the day, I noticed Jimin trying to talk to her. She waved her hand in a denying motion and left.
Jin pulled up next to me in his car. I got in and we picked Jimin and Taehyung up. "Nicole wouldn't talk to me." Jimin said.
"I think we scared her off." Taehyung joked. Jin and I shared a special look and he said, "Oh? What were you talking about?""You know. Trying to invite her back to the arcade. But she said she had things to do and people to talk to. So I let it go." He said, fogging the window and drawing over it. Jin raised an eyebrow at me.
Nicole's POV
I took quick steps down the rock steps to the back of our school. This was how I got home every day. A hand on my shoulder stopped me, making me look back.
It was the new kid fro class six.
"H-Hey," He stuttered."My name is Bambam. I'm new, you know already, and well... Can you help me? The teacher said something about finding someone to help me..." He looked around nervously like someone was going to jump him.
"Sure." I said. "Where do you live? I can walk and talk at the same time if we live in the same direction." I said. He pointed right ahead. "Oh. I live to the left, but you know, I can just turn left on the third street." I said with a smile. His eyes widened, and he shook his head. "No, no, it's fine." He quickly said. I rolled my eyes with a smile and tugged his arm to get him walking. "C'mon, newbie. Lesson one, always accept help from people." I said.
He grinned weakly, but it grew stronger.
Namjoon's POV
I watched her walk home with him. Clearly, she'd just met him. So you're willing to hang out with strangers but not us? Fine. If that was how it was going to be.
