"Dang!"
Hoseok laughed as my character dropped off the screen, marking him the winner...

Again.

I heard Jungkook laugh behind me, somehow staying alive in his game. "That's like the easiest game here. And I thought you said you knew it?" He scoffed.
I felt myself go red and I ignored him. Hoseok shrugged and said, "It's ok. My score was worse than yours when I first started."
"Only because your arm was broken," Jungkook reminded him.
I bit my lip and turned around so I wouldn't have to look at his smug expression. Namjoon poked his head out of a booth. "Hey, Nicole, wana play this? It's a four-player game, two against two." He said.

Grateful for the distraction, I hurried over. He chose a large golem with a moss-covered stone hammer as his player. I chose a pixel witch with hair that turned into blocky numbers at the end and a large golden staff that doubled as a broomstick. "The main goal is the get the other team's flag. Each person gets their own screen, so if you get in a fight with someone else, only your screens will have the fight scene." He explained, pointing out the four different screens.
"Do you wanna play against a computer or do you want me to get someone else to play?" He asked.

"Hold up."

Jungkook and Yoongi sat down across from us. "We wanna play you guys." Yoongi said, sharing a smile with Jungkook. I groaned internally. There were gonna gang up on me, weren't they. But Namjoon just nodded.
Jungkook was a falcon warrior with a set of white wings. Yoongi was a street fighter with two knives.

The game started, and my character jumped over Yoongi's running towards their flag, but he used his kinves and forced me back and took twenty points off my health bar. Jungkook came behind me and landed a huge punch, sending the witch backwards. Namjoon rebounded with a swing from his hammer, forcing both Jungkook and Yoongi back to their start. They both had thirty four points off their health.

Taehyung and Jimin both inched over to watch us play.

Eventually, Namjoon and I won, with me just barely fending off both Jungkook and Yoongi with magic.

"Good game," Yoongi said, patting Namjoon on the back. He gave me a sharp look and walked off. Jungkook said something about, 'Namjoon did everything,' and left.
Seokjin tsked. "Such rude children." He said. "Don't worry, you'll find them a lot better."

He reassured me. "And I'll make sure they do."

I smiled at his words, and was pulled away by Taehyung and Jimin, wanting to play a dance game.

"Nobody has beaten the high score on this one, not even Namjoon! We don't know who this person is, but they have the highest score, 1024. Wanna try it?" Jimin asked, giving me excited eyes. I agreed, stepping up to the glowing arrows on the floor mat.

"Choose a song! The easiest is Miko from Outta Space, and the hardest is Not Gonna Save the World." Taehyung said.

I saw Yoongi and Jungkook eyeing me from the side, and I noticed that Jungkook had the lowest score on the dance game, and Hoseok had the highest.

Ironically, Namjoon was one above the last score.

Yoongi whispered something to Jungkook. "I don't think she can even get past two seconds of Miko from Outta Space."

A/N: Start playing the song now, it's really good and matches the events. ^__^

Anger flared inside me and I slammed my foot on the arrow for Not Gonna Save the World.
That shocked all seven boys into silence.

The song started, and the arrows came at a lazy pace. I followed them, still angry at Jungkook and Yoongi for being so rude.

The arrows came faster and at weirder patterns.

I started to sweat, and almost missed an arrow. Jungkook noticed and started snickering.

Annoyed, I decided to up my game and put everything I had into this game.
I was getting Good and Perfect all over the place, and Jungkook was shocked into silence.

My score climbed steadily, getting closer and closer to Hoseok's score, past Hoseok's score, closer and closer to 1024.

1027.

My final score.

I'd beaten the highest score that none of the boys could beat.
Me, the first-time gamer.

Taehyung, Jimin, Seokjin and Hoseok all cheered and clapped.

Namjoon smiled.
